Hi! Im using HTVRONT since 2 months, it works vry well, but 1st hing to do is to get rid of stock "pillow". It's really bad quality, it had wrinkles after only like 50x usage. Replace it with some silicone pillow or else. I found also very usefull to buy differnt sizes soft vinyl pillow. By that i can have more pressure in the place i want (when applying small print etc.). The truth is that more pressure or adjustable would be usefull. Im pressing DTF twice in order to press the print into material even more.

Also, if you raise the heat a little would that help with the DTF transfer? Since there were spots that didnt quit reach 300 dergrees...
@transfersuperstars10 ай бұрын
Yes you can compensate for the heat by increasing the temperature however the main thing this press lack is the ability to adjust the pressure. Once you wash a 100% cotton tee, it will shrink. If you did not use enough pressure, the dtf transfer will prematurely wrinkle.
@RVS2147 күн бұрын
You need to add a regular heat press rubber pad under the pillow or alone... Also my optimal Dtf time and temperature is...310 for 15 seconds...cool peel and repress for 15... I have done almost a thousand shirts, and hoodies etc... I usually use a swing away.. I have a Geo Knight and a Trans Pro swinger... I got this because its portable and it was on sale...I got it practically for free with my Amazon points . I tried it on this press...and it definitely works with extra padding. It needs that 15 second time.. But my guess the new HTVront heat press 2 with the pressure adjustment feature it will eliminate the need for more padding

We've tried that and it doesn't give added pressure.

@transfersuperstars maybe you got a faulty one..could be... Also we press DTf for 15 cool 15...that works so much better. The rubber mat I used was very stiff and thick. A very thorough review. Thank you for that. -------I have this press, and I'm a little underwhelmed with it, But I have a question. You have it set at 7 seconds. @transfersuperstars Жыл бұрын
The increased pressed time will not make a difference in the outcome if the heat press doesn't have enough pressure. Once you wash the garment, you will see some shrinkage in the transfer from the garment shrinking. This wouldn't be an issue if the press had enough pressure. There's currently no way to increase the pressure on this machine.
