Due to copyright issues, we are unable to present this song in video format for everyone. Originally, Hua planned to sing another song, but due to the unfortunate passing of the lyricist of this song, Hua chose to sing it to memory her. Watching Hua's musical performances often feels like watching a short opera, very dramatic, and this song is also one of my favorites. In 2018, in a singing competition where all participants were required to cover and adapt songs from other artists, what truly impressed everyone about Hua was his genuine adaptation into his own unique style. Unlike other singers who simply re-sing the same song, Hua transformed it into his distinctive Hua-style.

You'll get more "cheeky piano" when he gets to Fake Monk. You're peeling the layers of the onion that is Hua Hua. This was a fascinating performance (not the slideshow), but they tightened up on strikes, and the English Subs on the live performance disappeared. Worth going back on your own to watch the live version, now you know what the song was saying. It's his PERFORMING skills that draw you in. He makes you believe the story of the song. Had a thought... Have you watched KZ Tandingans on Singer 2018. I think you'll like her. Her "Rolling in the deep" absolutely sells the... "Look what.. YOU lost", rather than Adele's soppy version.
