I really recommend another set of artist collab that recently happened (again) last month. Zhou Shen & Sa DingDing's Upward Toward the Moon (it's an OST to one of the most popular Chinese drama of 2018 - the original singer is Sa DingDing). The range of the song is in the higher pitch and the harmonization between the two artists was amazing. Plus the stage was good and majestical, one of my favs in a while --- it's from a festival performance. China has a lot of festivals throughout the year and a lot of stations have their own. Really recommend watching some spring, mid-autumn, CNY and etc. It's always amazing and enjoyable to watch with family. He mentors her in the show and they were competing in Singer 2018. She has some good performances too! This song is old and my parents love it. The bell is very symbolizing and really important and the song is just plain amazing.

I like all of Hua’s rearrangements in this show, there are true gems. HuaHua really shone as a composer in The Next, he won so often against the challengers that on one episode none wanted to challenge him. You are so lucky! this one gets blocked easily too! Please watch their other duet, it's "Perhaps Love" EPIC 2!!! "The Next" is a singing competition, they have to rearrange other singer's songs in 24 hours. Hua is the mentor, this girl is a contestant. Hua Chenyu is very good at harmony arrangement. They are not a couple, the girl is married. Hua's single.

Funny you mentioned the Su Shiding is male version of Hua. When she performed solo, Hua said she reminded him of himself and praised her highly. If you like rap of him he does a fantastic duet "Insignificant".

Actually the true HCY equivalent can only be GEM, both young, talented, amazing stage presence, fantastic music composer, awesome pianist and can play a few other instruments. Last but not least, crazy rapping skill, can perform any genre and overall no bad music ever produced. World wide fans wise, GEM is a couple of notch higher.

A little background on this show. It's format is young, up and coming singers come in and challenge established stars(Like HuaHua, Karen Mok, Yang Kun and Fei Yuchin) , song vs song, but the challengers have the advantage of choosing both the song they sing and the song the established star must sing. The stars then have 24 hours to do any re-arrangements to the song that was chosen for them. Once both have sung their song, the audience votes on which one is better. Those challengers who advance, either by beating an established star or having a very good score in losing, then choose from the established stars to do a duet against another challenger and established star. It's a wonderful format, and if you watch the series(It's called "The Next", and there are two seasons you can watch all of the episodes of), you'll see a lot of incredible talent among young chinese singers and some great competition.
