Hello Nina and Camera Man, I am a veteran in Florida that has wanted to move to Thailand for years and now at 60 I have the monthly pension to make it happen, I decided on Hua Hin a few weeks ago because it's more laid back and my reasons for moving are not for bar girls. I am an avid animal person and love reptiles so Thailand is very appealing to me. Low crime, very good cost of living, friendly people, healthy food. I am going to rent a 2/2 pool home in Hua Hin and I find many on the marketplace, once I fly there at 62 I will apply for a retirement visa and get a place for my dog and me, she is a good girl and hardly ever bites. Hopefully I can take Thai lessons well before I get there so that I know what time it is. Once I am settled in I will be looking for a companion but only one and not half of Hua Hin, thank you for the content .

It's good to know if us Aussie home owners are, and I emphasize owners, feel they are struggling financially, thanks to what's going on, we can sell up and live like kings in the Land Of Smiles. BUT in saying that you must have someone that genuinely loves you and not for what she or he, to be politically correct, can get out of you to fulfill your daily life other wise you will go out of your mind!
