I have Huawei 525 -65a modern and now this one b818 modern. But my old modem is faster than this one on Optus 4g network.I change settings both of them but b525 at least 7/8 Mb/sec faster than b818. So I am keep using Huawei 525 modem.

So slow uploading that would take ages to upload a youtube video. I don't think that would be any threat to the NBN. I live 2km from the nearest tower and I get much higher speeds on my Iphone uploading. It would be useless for a family of users.
