@uFixTek Жыл бұрын
this service is to cool down the CPU and service the laptop, if your laptop blowing out heat that is what does the fan does. you need to check the CPU temps, not if the laptop is hot!, if the laptop gets how there is no magic paste to disappear the heat!.

@@uFixTek Do you think using liquid metal would be a very bad idea on this specific model?
@uFixTek2 жыл бұрын
i would never ever recommend to use a liquid metal on a portable laptops my friend! there are few and one key important thing about the LM and 99% of the tech guyz don't know because it doesn't relate to tech, and that is the Properties of the LM. i try to explain as much as i can, #1. LM as we know has the highest W/mK (around 70) so that makes it the best know usable item to place on COPPER and GLASS components. #2. LM will never or eat or damage your COPPER heat sink it will bond to it, but with a small polishing it will be back. #3. LM is extremely conductive, you will need to isolate the nearby components. #3. people say that LM is good for a year or two then you need to reapply it! (that is NOT true on for the subject of "that has a time expire") -what people lack of understanding of chemical properties of the LM is that the LM at its applying stage is liquid but only does a good job of heat/cold transfer up to 60% at most most -once a heat/cold had been transferred for XXX (few months) amount of time, then the Liquid portions of the LM will be evaporated, and a very thin and extremely delicate bond will be created, and that small and delicate bond will transfer heat/cold at 100% now for EVER! BUT any small vibration or hit or moving the "laptop" on a table with slightest drop will break that layer of bond (crack) and you will have the horrible temp results, that what people call it expiry date lol BUT placing a LM on a console that will not move or pC that stays at one place or server or workstations are the BEST option! we have experimented and have talked to a PHD chemical researchers to give second opinion. therefore if you planing to move your laptop around : use a paste version of LM that its only off by 5-7C: Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Extreme: amzn.to/3SeXBRy because even with the highest heat transfer properties (LM 70W/mK compare to 12.5W/mK paste version) you would think that it should be better temp drop and not only 5-7c , but you got to remember that the LM or paste are not cooling solution the cooling solution is at the vapor chamber and how fast copper can absorb that heat and release the heat and inside the heat tubes are liquid that transfers heat and how good of tube are in your heatsink, Don't use Water coolers they are the same results as air cooler. if we had a better cooling material beside copper then we could take advantage of that 70W/mK properties, but till that happens, use paste. i hope i have explained my self. if you have any question or request in the future feel free to ask me.

Good day! My Huawei Matebook D15 laptop does not initialize, the Fn and Caps keys are on, the fan is spinning, but there is no image. Previously it had this problem, but on some attempt it still started, so I was able to update the bios from windows. After that, the problem disappeared for half a year and now it has happened again. Do you think the BIOS firmware can be damaged because of it? Maybe you have already experienced something similar? Sorry for my english, translated with google :)

Thank you for your feedback! If you'd like to support the channel, you can like, subscribe, or do both! Regarding your question, your English is fine , also you can speak in your own language i speak 6 languages, we do get this issue a lot in the store and this laptops have a big issue with the bios chip they do get cropped very easy. you need to replace the bios chip, de-solder the old and place a new programmed chip, that is something a good technician can do. other than BIOS there is nothing wrong with the laptop. sorry that i have to tell you this but there is no simple instruction (clicking and stuff) for you to fix it, you can keep trying to power on and you may get a single boot.

Hi there, thanks for this amazing video. I want to ask whether you are familiar with audio jack problem, so my audio jack often times not producing sound for my wored earphone. Speakers and tws works fine so i know it's hardware issues. However, i can somehow fix it temporarily if i flex the chasis a little bit, or if i put like a max volume first and then turning it down. But the issue will eventually appear again. I really don't know what's wrong and i wish to have an assistance from you
@uFixTek3 ай бұрын
🫠Regarding your question, we do encounter this issue in the store often. The problem is that people use the audio boost application and push the volume over 100%, going to 130%+, which causes the audio chip on the board to overheat. You will need a good technician who knows how to solder and desolder a BGA chip to replace the audio controller on the board. cheers🍻
@FahriDarsonoto3 ай бұрын
@@uFixTek so the chip is fried due to overheat? But why is that it went back to normal when i raised the volume?
@uFixTek3 ай бұрын
The chip is partially paralyzed (damaged), and when you raise the volume, you're pushing more voltage, and the resistance changes to a different section. The chip is damaged due to overheating caused by the amplification of the audio.
