Nice Video, thanks for that. Question: While the System is connected to the Grid, is there also Power on the L1? (at 4.23) So all critical Loads can be connected to this output (X1)?

Can I install 4 battery packs on top of one another? And put the power module on top of that? So i get 20kwh battery pack for a total of 4 battery modules??

I seem to remember a stack of three is the recommended limit (you'd need to check) - I only have two to produce 10kws.

Beware that this battery might emit a high frequency 'hum', which if installed within the home, will probably wake the entire household. My unit emits a 45/50 decibel humming noise and now, after three frustrating months and numerous emails, Huawei technical services have accepted there is a problem and have agreed to replace the 'power module'. I really hope that my being woken up at 06:45hrs, will soon be at an end, but if you also get this problem, you will need to be very persistent to get this issue resloved.

the @@404allowed: the replacement is much better, but it still gives a reading of about 28 decibels, as opposed to 45 to 50 from the old one. Huawei have never formally accepted that the unit was faulty and it took a video of my bedroom recording a reading of 46 decibels to persuade them to offer a replacement. I'm OK with the humming level now - it doesn't wake me up at about 7am, which seems to be the set time for the dehumidification unit to start up (time cannot be altered, for some reason) and my system is working very well. My only advice would be, make sure your battery pack is installed far enough away from possible disturbance - they can be fitted to outside walls (I'm informed).

I’m in a Penthouse (only 2 of us at the top level) facing the ocean. i want to set up a hybrid system but only use it Offgird and so where do i install all of the non solar elements. Reading your humming example that is an added challenge for me..I guess 28 decibels is the market for me. Thx

@@404allowed After a battle to get my original unit replaced (made much more difficult with Huawei customer service being in Romania and me in the UK) the new unit is much quieter and after a 'bedding in' period the fan unit doesn't appear to cut in so often. However, I wouldn't have one installed very close to a living, working and particularly sleeping area, because the humming emitted by the de-humidification unit. I guess it would best be attached to an external wall, if possible, or in a garage.

I bought the KTL 6 single phase and figured it will not work in off grid mode if you do not have backup box B0 because of the communication... But im curious will it work without battery after I install the backup box since I have no grid its total off grid!
