ihab jabor Mate 10 Pro have not released yet in my country. Besides, it doesn't have a headphone jack so it is a deal breaker for me. I will rate this device as 9/10. Excellent audio and battery life. Runs smoothly. I detect no lags when doing simple tasks like web browsing or using Whatsapp. Camera wise I can't really tell because I have not used to the full potential but so far so good. The price for its performane makes this device looked affordable. :)

Tim Pereira The UI is a pleasure and easy to use. Not much bloatware. The screen has HDR support thus the images look vibrant and colourful. Compared to Samsung OLEDs, the IPS display on the Mate 10 is great for its technology. I don't own an Iphone so I cannot comment on that and never will own one lol.

How's the camera? I saw some samples on the internet and looks like the contrast is a little too high especially in the nighttime. Do you feel like it's been fixed? Also, does display look pixelated compared to other 2K IPS displays or 2K AMOLED screen because of irregular arrangement of subpixel(RGBW pentile matrix)? Does it bother you? I've got the mate 9 and to be honest I dont see a reason to upgrade to mate 10 (not pro, pro has less features). The Kirin 970 is great, but the 960 is still on par with the latest snapdragon. The cameras are virtually the same, except for the wider aperture which is awesome but not groundbreaking. The front fingerprint reader is a step back in my book because bezelless design is 2017s theme. Huawei should've brought back tap to wake or implemented a knuckle gesture code to wake (like LG's knock knock code) and then leave the fingerprint on the back while minimizing the bottom bezel. It's 2017 yet Huawei doesnt give us wireless charging 😑. The Mate 10's LcD is sharp but dated, "Always on display" is a very useful feature for LED displays which only the Pro gets🤐. The desktop feature sounds great but in reality Smart TVs are everywhere so one can use the mirror share app, even with a non smart tv just get a dongle and you are wireless...this desktop feature is a wired feature (again a step back)... What mate 10 offers is mostly old tech in a new body

I could charge the battery from 0 to 100% in about 75 minutes using the supplied charger and cable, or wirelessly charge it from 0% to 100% in about 20 hours... :-/ I've had the Nexus 5 with wireless charging and am currently using an LG G4 with an aftermarket back cover (with wireless charging), and apart from initial trials, haven't bothered with wireless charging in normal use - it might be OK if you always have a very long night's sleep and have a wireless charger near your bed, or if you work a desk job and have a wireless charger there. For anyone who actually moves around a lot, you simply can't get enough of a charge into the 'phone wirelessly to make an impact. It's like the difference between cooking food and just keeping it warm.

Jonathan Tan well apart the ip67 which I really don't mind the regular is better value for money . It still retains the jack which offers hi res audio (384k/32bit) n a decent stereo set up. A tradeoff is the aspect ratio but the regular one still feels very compact in hand and pocket.

8:35 im sorry but that is terrible. Directional audio when the only microphone is on the left? Yeah, my left ear enjoyed that selfie video, meanwhile my right ear had ZERO sound what so ever. They said "even if the frequency matches, your local network carrier would have to accept the frequencies into their network before they can be used" That sounds suspiciously like shifting the blame if the phone doesn't work.

My 3t swaps to 4g when needed but websites won’t open etc Photos won’t send in txt no matter what I do. I have tried the providers help guide etc and manually set up a APN that got website access, but it had to be manually engaged. Nightmare.
