This is the phone for me by far. I am currently using a 6.6" display phone, so going for a 7.2" display phone, with Oled display, 5000mah battery, the latest and most powerful Huawei processor ie Kirin 980, and last but not least, a headphone jack is the icing on the cake!! Previously I was thinking of getting the Huawei Honor Note 10 which is almost the same size as the Mate 20 X, but has a 1080p LCD display, has a Kirin 970 processor and no headphone jack. Regarding the Mate 20 X, did you know that there is an additional feature where Huawei is offering a stylus compatible with the phone for note taking features like the Galaxy Note series??

I want it so bad, not for gaming but mainly for productivity. I'm hoping the stylus will be useful - it'd be an absolutely amazing device for me since I'm in uni and would love to be able to study and interact more easily with all the PDFs I get. Unfortunately, the Mate 20 X only has a shockingly low IP53 rating - unacceptable at this price range, tbh. My old phone just died (first time in 18 years of non-stop cell phones that I actually dropped my phone into water) and if the Mate 20 X had been IP67 or 68 I wouldn't have hesitated a second. Instead, I'm getting a Xiaomi Mi Max 3 for now (nowhere near the specs, and also no waterproofing, but a third of the price). I do hope we see a future Mate 30 X with a higher IP rating though - it'd literally be my perfect phone!

There is a huge thing to consider regarding the low DPI of the Mate 20 X Especially during gaming.. You're gonna stretch 1080p gaming over that huge surface, you're gonna see a lot of aliasing on the edges of ingame models, or if anti-aliased its gonna be fairly blurry (targets in PUBG at a distance, for example). But on the Mate 20 Pro, it's in 2k, so it will run and render games in 2k (which i had experienced with the Galaxy S7 Edge), and that makes a HUUUUUGE difference to gaming, both in seeing fine details and how crisp and defined things seem, even 2d games. So for a phone built for gaming, do you REALLY wanna play in 1080p on that huge stretched screen? Or do you wanna play in 2k on the Mate 20 Pro? Frankly, i'd rather choose 2k. If they made the Mate 20 X in 2k, it would absolutely destroy the 20 Pro.
