It Doesn't support this installation process. i just had my Mate 30 pro and unluckily bought this as i thought it will works with Google Play store. I think it is because of the updates recently. So sad cant install this. Tried more than twice USB and HiSuite back up and it is not working anymore :(. I hope someone can do something about it.

Yes it should. We tested this a good number of times already. We are able to use ride hailing apps that depend on Google Maps. 😇

@@TheConsumerReviewPH Thank you so very much for the responce. This makes me definitely will buy the mate 30 pro. Been loving huawei phones and the stupid ban is making our upgrade path harder. At least we have a workaround now. As a hobbyist photographer, Can't get past the superb camera quality of the Huawei. Seen the Mate 30 Pro in store, the design of the phone waterfall display is striking. Far ahead of Apple, 11 at the same price.

You can remove the Google backup but we suggest you keep it in a separate storage in case you need to reset the phone as you will have to install Google all over again. You can deactivate and remove the G app but we suggest you keep it and simply hide it with some of your least used apps. 😇

Just copy the google pack folder into your mate 30/ mate 30 pro storage. You will install all of the apk files in that folder after you restore and activate the app with 'G' icon

Try downloading an updated version of the Huawei HiSuite. The version included in the tutorial could already be outdated. Another user confirmed using an updated version works fine and he was able to proceed and complete the steps.
