I'd like to correct some of the information you've given. Huawei doesn't use Leica sensors but Leica lenses rather. Their sensors are always either OV or SONY. And if I remember correctly, SONY has made custom sensors for Huawei in the past.

Huawei's innovations are endless. Apple seems old and tired and unable to surprise and amaze as in the past. Apple is now giving discounts on its phones to prod sales. When Huawei goes international with its phones, the true test of popularity based on features and cost will come into view. The expectation is that Huawei will dominate with not only phone features, but Harmony OS Plus features and superlative camera features. Mobile phones are becoming more camera and internet access platforms than use as a phone. Now we need to see Huawei break through the 5nm chip barrier and dominate semiconductor production in China and the world. Huawei's recent EUV patent, chip stacking patents, and its SAQP technologies might just push Huawei in a neck to neck race to the smallest silicon node size. Huawei also has its fingers in photonic chips, graphene chips, quantum chips, and other non-silicon based semiconductors. Exciting times and this decade will be China's decade to shine and lead the world in semiconductors. Huawei will be the spear point of that leadership.
