It appears that Huawei is prepared to replace Windows with the HarmonyOS operating system on its upcoming PCs. According to a corporate representative, the laptops that are currently in stock might be the final ones that use an external operating system.
On September 20, Yu Chengdong, the chairman of Huawei Consumer Business, watched a live webcast. He stated in the interview that HarmonyOS software, rather than Windows, will come pre-installed on the upcoming Huawei PCs.
According to the Chairman, Huawei must stop supporting Windows in light of the US ban. The company has been suffering for cutting-edge technologies, chipmaking tools, and even improved software ever since it was placed on a U.S. blacklist in 2019.
HarmonyOS PC is expected to launch this year. Ahead of that, glimpses of the new software peaked through the official website. A new input suggests that HarmonyOS PC allegedly surfaced on the Huawei Developer page, revealing its UI design.
