@@urosnedeljkovic9932 no. Not that I can discern with normal use. The standby is amazing and so is when using lightly. I have gotten 24 hrs easily. And 12 hrs with moderate use. 2 hrs of that while talking on WhatsApp call with speaker. It's pretty amazing. Just make sure your battery never goes below 30% unless absolutely necessary. That way your battery life is more preserved.

Mi Mix anyday, that horrible notch on the Huawei ruins it plus once you see the ceramic back of the Mix 2s with the gold insertions around the camera....daaaaaamn. The Huawei is somewhat better in terms ofcamera perfornance but the Mix 2s is better in any other way possible.

I'v watched quite a few ones in the search for a "perfect phone" to replace my Legendary HTC One M7 that served as my Daily-Driver for over 5 years since its initial release.. Now it's time to swap & been thinking alot on these 2 being reviewed here. But i'v finally came to my senses & decided to wait for the HTC U12+ out in 23 of May 2018... Exciting Times! mark jayo tomimbang Like this: Every single time its time to charge, I charge it at around 15 - 20 % to 100%. I NEVER change this strategy! Now its a Lithium Polymer type, so im not sure its the best for it (iv read they can be charged at any position). But at least for older batterys, this was the way to go & it works well still. Just started lagging a tad sometimes, bit ithink the cause is too many files, so thats most likely solveable.. ;)

The Huawei P20 and the Xiaomi MI MIX 2S can be great choice. Both of them has the pros and cons as you have mentioned in the cmoparison video (which is a great video). Although the notch on the Huawei P20 can be hidden it can be annoying for a lot of users. (And the notch is not required to increase the screen-body ratio as the Huawei Mate RS Porsche Design proves this statement). The Xiaomi MI MIX "S maybe has a more unique design. Both of them have great cameras hardware so it is really hard to choose!

Yeah I'll go for mix 2s, thats at least 200 euros cheaper, has snapdragon, and honestly who needs the water proofing?? Both phones will survive ocasional rain or some drops of water. Amoled might be the only plus side for Huawei but other than that, Huawei impo is overhyped and you pay lots more for some cheap gimmicks and the brand while Xiaomi has great design (not to mention pioneered the bezleless design), great performance and a very approachable price. And btw just cause theres a leica brand means nothing much, since they specialize in actual hand held cameras NOT mobile cams. So they can maybe tune it but thats all. Anyways i am missing the point of having 3 cameras except for bragging rights. Im also a bit unclear how dual cameras serve a purpose in the whole bokeh effect, but i get the reason one being rgb while the other being bw sensor. Alao ai camera only works if you have data on....so again its not ai its just machine learning with AI name slapped onto it to make it seem like its something that will totally change your camera "game". Yet again another gimmick that is just a hype train going nowhere. As far as i know auto mode changes the settings automatically already depending on if you're shooting scenery or portrait etc.... Maybe not with so many "modes" as food or whatever but rly....i dont think you need an "AI" gimmick for your instagram photos anyway.... Honestly id rather go for iphones animoji stupidity more than this ai gimmick cam cause at least with animoji there is some actual tech involved even though its used for a seemingly only entertainment purpose. Thats just my opinion. And to people complaining hoe Xiaomi's selfie cam is on the chin....honestly that very easily solved with flipping the phone upside down as the camera tips you to anyway, while you cant rly just flip off that notch off. I dont mind the notch, its just a representation of todays tech progress, but i do think at least for usability and aesthetics sake xiaomi solved it smarter given the tech it has available. So id take a ips screen over cut out amoled anyday, plus you dont see the difference in those blacks unless you have the two screens side by side in the dark..... So again i get that it is mentioned here just for comparison sake but thats it.... I had ips and i had amoled, honestly i didn't see much difference while using them, both were great. Also the myth that amoled vlack backgrounds save battery, honestly its false....or more specifically its so minor you wont notice it. Your battery will last the same either way. But if that 5 minutes more difference is SO important to you, then by all means get a phone with amoled. :)

NGT4LIFE well nowadays all phones are water resistant.... And waterproofing a phone always muffles the speaker plus how often is it that you NEED or want to dunk your phone in water to take a pic? Its a cool feature but if i pay top dollar for a phone i wouldnt be dunking it in water anyway or leaving it anywhere that theres a possibility my phone will go for a swim.

I agree that the Kirin 970 is a bit behind vs the SD845 in terms of power, but it was released near the end of 2017 and the 845 was the first quarter of 18. The 970's life cycle is still in so the only thing I see wrong with the P20 is the fact that it has only a slight improvement over the mate 10 Pro which has the same engine under the hood and as you stated, the bottleneck due to Huawei's choice in RAM speed and channel. They definitely should've chosen a better hardware configuration for a phone that was only released around 6 months after the mate 10/10pro with a much heftier price tag. The only thing I can see that would even make me want to get a P20 over the mate 10 Pro is the camera and I'm a bit unimpressed by Huawei's sensors since even the most ideal conditions produce pictures that after a slight zoom into the finished product, looks like a painting with very short and dull strokes. As for the main comparison here of the Huawei P20 or the Xiaomi MI Mix 2S, since I'm a Huawei fan, and I already own a Mate 10 Pro and an Honor 8, I would likely choose the P20. Mostly because it has IP67 rating but also because I have experience with Huawei and I know performance wise, the 970 is still a decent contender and top performer for a company that only recently was barely thought of as a flagship capable mobile maker. However, I would love to see xaiomi move into the US as a contender for some of these crappy options we currently have available. I think thee Mi Mix 2S would definitely generate some serious competition for Apple and Samsung.

P20 Pro. Camera, microphone for making phone calls actually works, Battery, ip67, amoled screen for day light use, and did I mention it can actually make a phone call? I forgot Huawei has a better selfie camera. Mi mix 2 has a better processor and front screen display is nice. I like how the P20 pro has a sick glass back. Mi mix 2 is as nice as it gets with metal (maybe the metal makes the call quality suck)

Alhamdulillah I got Mi Mix 2s. Watching videos on Mix 2s is next level, even Note 8 cant compete. I know its Amoled vs IPS LCD but trust me guys I am using it and the colors and contrast on Mix 2s is impeccable. The notchless design makes a huge huge difference. Its so immersive you will literally feel yourself inside the video you watch. I was iPhone user from last 10 years. Switched to Mix 2s and have mixed feelings about Android. What iOS can do Android cant and what Android can do iOS cant. So you cant really say which is good. Though I would still vouch for iOS coz of the apps and OS stability and Apple's psychological sense of designing the UI is cut above the rest. If you are planning to buy Mix 2s, two things to note, Front Camera and Music. The front facing camera on the bottom is a NO-GO. If you're a selfie lover, stay away from Mix 2s. You cannot get your photos right no matter what you do even after rotating the phone you wont get the perspective right. Music quality is not that great on speakers nor the headphones. If you are music lover, think twice before buying. Often issues arise on notifications but thats a software glitch which I hope will be fixed by updates. Other than that it's a great phone. If you want to flaunt your phone, play games on highest graphic settings, great visuals and watch videos, Mix 2s is the one for you. I am glad I got Mix 2s.

the P20 Pro doesn't have a pressur sensitive home button... it's a normal touch sensor... pressing harder doesn't work at all. You have to press LONGER to go home, not harder. Even the description says that: "touch and hold the center of the navigation key to return to the home screen [...]". Touch and Hold. Not "press harder".

I wanted to watch this until the end, but seeing the phones side by side there's an obvious choice. I mean, I think the screen is even smaller on the Huawei than that advertised 6.1... You have to take into account the notch cover with will permanently be there for me. On top of that, the Mix 2S is overall smaller and much more beautiful and when it comes to specs, they're quite similar. I can't understand why manufacturers add notches!

I love Mi Mix 2S design, I honestly think it possesses elegance and beauty both at once. However, I wouldn't have an issue if that camera was flipped up, just for the practicality of it, but then again it's not used all the time so, would work like this too. Huawei is looking good too, with quite luxurious set of 4(!) cameras, but the price is simply too high. Also , the company is known for using older chipsets, lying about the image quality and other tricks.

Mi Mix has much better design, the notch stands in the way if you want a full display experience (which you do want). If the chin bezzle is necessary then the other brands should get inspired by the mi mix design not the Iphone X. Once again, who needs the black spot to stand in the way when watching a video for instance ? Whatever Iphone puts on the table the other brands act as sheep as if they were scared to try their own way of innovation.

I like the "XIAOMI MI MIX 2S" because it doesn't have a notch but the problem is the position of the front camera and its 5 mp (bad selfis). I think the "XIAOMI MI MIX 3" will fix this problems and will have a pup up camera and in display fingerprint scanner like the vivo nex and they will upgreat the cameras (specially the front camera).and its will be just for 500$ (for 6gb and 64 gb).
