I was hesitating between the OP6, MI 8 and the Mix 2s. I decided to go for the Mix 2s. The main reason is because I don't like the notch. And because of a sale the Mix 2s was 100€ cheaper than the OP6 enhanced my choice even more. I still have a Oneplus One so the Mix 2s will be the a nice upgrade. Can't wait till it arrives at my doorstep :D

Ethan Moreau you can still use Apple music on Android and I haven't had any issue with it. The software feels familiar and basically runs like iOS but you can move your apps anywhere. Yeah you won't have iCloud but if you back everything up to Google photos it should move everything over nicely. The gestures are just like the iPhone X and you can even make a Mi Account to replace your Apple ID. Works in a similar manner

Thanks for the review. I'll get the One+. Amoled screen is better than IPS. Their phones are more reliable and the service is excellent. My family has one 3 and one 3T. Still working like a charm. And they still support/release updates to those phones to Android O. This won't happen to Samsung.

I have both phones and I prefer the Xiaomi mi mix 2s. If you are used to very high end specs on phones and the fluidity of iphones and samsung softwares, you will notice the response time on the op6 over the 2s. Both Cameras are good but its more the software than the camera itself, so if they improve and release new software, the experience will be alot better for both. Xiaomi has confirmed Android P will be release on the 2s too.

Ok, sooooo i dont know why the people prefer the onplus 6. I mean, the sound quality is just horrible, its just a little bit more powerful than the mi mix 2, the camera is bad, and, even though that it has dash charging, the battery life is less. Also the mi mix 2s is just beatifull, and has MIUI, with tons of features. And i dont understand why would u want that little bit of extra power when the mi mix dont needs more... So, even though the oneplus 6 is a very good phone, i think the mi mix 2s is better.

Do you have both phones? I have both phones and the OnePlus is definitely better. Better lowlight camera (the difference in low light is huge) and a much much better display. The Mi Mix 2S isn't capable to watch Netflix in HD, the OnePlus 6 is capable to watch Netflix in HD. The OP6 has aptX HD, the Mi Mix 2S doesn't even have official aptX support.

Smartphones have totally different displays. OnePlus has Amoled and Mi Mix has IPS, U CANT COMPARE THEM! Amoled has deeper black color and strong contrast but Mi Mix's display is like an iPhone's display, has warm colors and ur eyes don't get that exhausted. So everyone gets what they prefer.

I thought about getting the mi mix 2s but a couple of things turned me off from getting it 1 no headphone jack 2 the ceramic back on the mix 2s is more brittle so it can shatter easier then a glass back would. Yes it has wireless charging but I dont care for that

The Mi Mix 2S is the better device. It has fast wireless charging and looks way more premium than the OP6. The OP6 has a little leg up on the camera but it has a hideous notch....for that alone it's a pass! I condemn any device that has a notch!

Shubham Sonawane you forgot the most important factor imo. The oneplus 6 has a super amoled display while the 2s has an ips. Amoled looks way better than the ips (colours much more vivid and eye popping and deep black)

Camera in the corner like the iPhone. Wow amazing idea by Apple. So unique! Get real. And, no wireless charging, omg... Omg.... OMG!!! Chinese phone doesn't have wireless charging.... but the American iPhone and Korean S9 both do... OMG!. Not everyone needs or wants wireless charging. This is just Western bias against Chinese phones. Phones are Phones these days, becoming commodity items. I doubt many people would actually buy an iPhone off contract, why, because it's too expensive for what you're getting.

Whenever a Westerner reviews a Chinese phone, there are usually comments added about some lacking feature that Apple and Samsung flagships offer at the time. Yet these Chinese phones are several hundreds of US dollars cheaper than those phones. Why don't these reviewers make comments choosing some lower tier phone from Apple or Samsung which are roughly in the same price range as the Chinese phones, rather than always using the competitors flagship as reference, this way we get a fairer review and comparison. Apple have their SE range and Samsung make many cheaper phones.
