I still have problems with camera on P30 Lite..The video quality & sharpness is very bad. Also video stabilization is not good. Pity about the camera because everything else about the phone is good. I also notice the audio recording from the video is very low and I have to bring the volume up in post editing.

my photos have no color and makes everything less colourful. my selfies look pale af and its awful.

Good review. I've had this phone for a couple of years and looking to upgrade. I am shocked by how dodgy the camera quality can be -- it seems to have an in-built feature which makes rougher textures smooth like in a snapchat portrait filter - and I can't seem to get it to not do that. Thanks a lot for the review!

My big problem with the camera is the audio quality...After recording video ...even with the volume up to the last it is still too low..If I want to fix the audio I have to import the file into an audio editing programme to get it up to acceptable listening levels. Then if I change from camera to the radio on the phone...the audio is way too loud. I also find that photos & video off the camera are blown out with too much brightness. The plus for the camera is the amount of storage space..

i used to own a huawei p30 lite, and i honestly hated the camera. photo quality is so low. i only got good (but still not the best) shots using the wide angle lens.
