I can be reachable and I can also pay with Google pay, and listen to a podcast. unbelievably the battery is still great. And with macrodroid on both the watch and the smartphone I can do literally everything

Hi, fo google map to work with GPS you need internet right? do you have talking (not text) google assistant as well on it? that also need internet i guess, so where do you have the internet from it, from your phone? does it need to be mobile internet or wifi internet can be passed to the watch via bluetooth?

Yes for both questions. Huawei Watch 2 has Bluetooth for internet-connection via Smartphone + the Watch 2 has Wi-Fi built in 💚📱👍

Where exactly can you buy this watch with esim ? I know that they released an upgraded model in summer 2018 with esim built in but was this only for the Chinese market or is it available in other countries ?

eSIM is not yet available in many countries. I would first of all ask in writing that eSIM is supported by one of your mobile providers in your country, otherwise you'll pay more for a Smartwatch that have one extra feature that you cannot use & that extra feature could for example eat a bit more battery on the motherboard & you'll that way possible pay more for a device that runs out of battery faster. I think the Sports-version of Huawei Watch 2 with Bluetooth is the best version, but you're free to choose 📱👍

@@huaweiliveeu5gesim46 Good advice and you are quite right. eSIM is only available on the EE network in the UK via The Samsung Galaxy Watch. First you have to rent aSamsung smartphone from them, take out a monthly contract and sign a contract for 24 months at £ 20 a month for the watch & eSIM feature. Works out at £ 911 total for 2 years - no thanks to that lol. I have now bought the Huawei phone, I shall use the 4g on that and divert any calls to my mobile to the new smartwatch. A lot cheaper

Yes, it has. What country do you live in? I would try it out in a store, because there are so many models & colors & sizes. You should pick one you love 👍

On the Android Wear yes, but sadly Huawei Watches now a days seldom have Android Wear. Make sure it has Android Wear to have these features 👍

Yes, but already rather old. My advice is make sure it's Android Wear if you use Android and make sure that it has a big enough battery, because it eats battery fast if you try Google Maps etc 🔮

Honestly not sure if Barclays NFC has an app for Android Wear OS. I would just make sure you get a (PrePaid) MasterCard/Visa at a bank that supports Google Pay 📱👍

Fantastic and very practical display of the features of the watch. Super!! One thing only left to know from my end: it is possile to have Turn by Turn navigation on the watch it its own (i.e. not connected to a phone)?

Thanks for your compliment & question. Theoretically it is possible with the Huawei Watch 2 eSIM-model, but in real life eSIM is for example non of the mobile providers here in Belgium support eSIM yet. Smartwatch's at the moment are excellent tools for secretly audio recording meetings, sports, as a kind of remote control for your smartphone at work when it's not allowed to use your smartphone. Google Maps works on Smartwatch together with Smartphone, but if you need a good GPS, than I would recommend a better Huawei Smartphone 📱👍

@@superuriulet if you need GPS on a Smartwatc, than I think you could get frustrated by the fact that thr Nano-SIM 4G + GPS will take up so much battery juice that your GPS's won't last you long on any smartwatch. It's a cool gadget, but honestly not a good stand alone GPS. If I were you than I would buy the non-4G version & link it to a good Android-smartphone. You need a good Android-smartphone to make a Smartwatch work well 📱👍

@@huaweiliveeu5gesim46 I know, I know, I'm aware of that. I consider the standalone GPS feature as important as marginal, i.e. only to be used in desperate times and situations. But in those few situations... oh la la, you REALLY need it. I still remember that one time cycling around in London at night when I didn't know the city yet and I was completely lost. My phone battery decided that was a good moment to leave me on my own... I can tell, I would given my left testicle to have a smartwatch with a GPS feature, even if it was only for 20 minutes to at least point me in the right direction. Ah, memories...

Yes, NFC works in Spain in the shops where they accept Visa/MasterCard, but you need some Visa/MasterCard from a bank that supports Google Pay. You can try Google Pay on your Smartphone to see if NFC is worth it. I notice that there are even more amazing apps on the Huawei Watch 2 📱👍

Where did you hear/read about the Huawei Watch 2 Pro? Even if your Huawei Watch would have a eSIM-chip you have to make sure that one of your mobile GSM carriers in your country support eSIM, otherwise you won't be able to use that feature for many years. Make sure you call your mobile providers 📱👍

Sadly here in Belgium where I live eSIM isn't supposed by any of the mobile providers, so there is no possibility to test 4G on Huawei Watch 2 eSIM in Belgium. Before buying one with eSIM (not a Nano-SIM, but built-in chip-SIM) ask your mobile providers where you live if the support the all new eSIM-Watch feature. It works fine via Bluetooth & battery lasts a Workingday or less if you use it very intensively by an big App like Facebook or so... 📱👍
