Good review! Though.. may I suggest that in doing such vids, please make the labels Consistent, e.g. If Nova 3i is on the left, keep it at the left, while the Y9 is on the right side of the screen... and... other People might as well ask for the price of the product in their own currency.. including a USD conversion may help. :) Overall.. It still helped me decide to pick which phone should I buy soon. :)

*My experience with Huawei Nova 3i* I've been very oozy sa phone , lalo na sa customizations (UI, animation, fonts, themes, keyboard, app drawer, navigation style, storage management) . So far, happy ako sa Nova 3i ko i made alot of personal customization with this phone parang di na sya default setting, mostly on my preference na, no problem with it except for the non-fast charging. But to compensate for that may mga power saving features naman sya na working talaga at naeextend talaga ang life ng battery you just have to really make use of the features. 😉 In terms of storage, no worries, almost 5 months ko natong phone and i still got 105 GB free considering mahilig ako mag pipicture at movies, dami ko nang pictures, videos, apps, at movies malaki parin available storage nya, wala pang SD card yan. Sa camera naman the brighter the scene the picture quality also gets better medyo not satisfied lang pag lowlight shots. Sa gaming naman, okay lang din sya not laggy, smooth naman playing Dragon Nest, Mobile Legends, Dead Trigger, Asphalt 8 at high graphics maybe the GPU turbo helps not sure lang sa PubG haven't tried. I just recently updated the software and i like it. I now have the option to use no navigation buttons anymore all at motion gesture na. hehe pa swipe2x nalang. I like it, hindi agad masisira buttons mo on the side kase less mo na sya gagamitin. Another thing, finger print and smudge magnet talaga sya huhu especially sa likod kasi glass, it can also easily slip through your hands kase madulas sya. So i bought a thin black rubber case and problem solved, it doesnt slip and nahahighlight ang nipis ng phone nato. 😍 So overall masaya naman ako sa phone nato, worth it naman for me. More on moderate gaming, surfing the internet at emails lang naman ako so good naman na sya for me. As long as it serve its purpose for my need okay nako. 😁

The reason why the Nova 3i's camera looked cleaner in the first comparison is because the Y9 was exposing for the back while the 3i was exposing for the fairy lights. It would be best to make sure that they were exposing for the same thing for a better comparison.

The only advantage of 3i is the memory. Of course many 3i users here since 3i was released earlier than Y9. But the preformance is practically the same considering the price. Y9 is awesome in games, no overheat feeling, good camera, sound is good too, the screen is much wider and the battery is superb considering the wider screen with such long battery life!!! No regrets buying this phone.

Y9 is 1 cheaper 2 wider screen 3 good camera quality 4 good speaker quality 5 far longer battery life considering the wider screen 6 no overheating even for high quality games 7 2hrs charging only considering the lifespan of the battery 8 latest android OS, v8.0(Oreo) 9 expandable memory is supported up to 400 GB 10 Performance is smooth with no lags The abovementioned are just some of y9 and i don't know what do you meant overall when it comes to 3i which is a lot more expensive... Where the only advantage is the built-in memory of 128G.

@YugaTech, if you don't mind me suggesting guys, i think it'd be better if you maintain the location of the photos based on what mobile phone it was taken from (say nova 3i on the left side of the pane and y9 on the right side) instead of switching them around every now and then. Makes it easier to distinguish which one you're looking at without having to look at the phone brand label. No hating, just a thought that i wanted to get to yous guys.

Just bought my Y9 2weeks ago and i love it. The camera has very good quality and the battery life is superb. My phone can last 24 hrs including games with it and normal brightness and opened data. If for affordability and with the specs involved Y9 is the best choice. Absolutely the best considering the cheap price but will the performance of the phone is definitely not cheap.

To add to some of the trade offs that you might have failed to mention when going for P3k difference in pricing between the 2 phones are the plastic, less premium build of the Y9 2019 against the glass more premium build of the Nova 3i. Also, being a phone with a 4000mah battery with no fast charging, you are going to need a little bit more patience when charging the Y9 2019 as it might take you AT LEAST almost 3 hours to fully charge the device depending on how drained the battery is when you decide to charge it.. So with that plus the other things you mentioned such as the double storage capacity for the 3i, a better front cam and probably a better night mode shot and a lot more camera features that the Y9 2016 doesn't have.. I would probably go for the Nova 3i on this :) Not to take anything away from the Y9 2019 as it is a very good phone but there is a reason why the Nova 3i is priced higher... It just simply means it's a better phone between the two. :)

Very good analysis. Agree that there is a reason Nova 3i is priced higher and you are definitely getting more. I have to state however that there are a lot of phones that have micro USB and support fast charging. I had the Galaxy s6 then s7 edge way back those were on micro usb and they were officially fast charging phones. (was so surprised with how fast they filled up!) It just so happened that type C is slowly becoming the standard now and it does support slightly faster charging than fast charging micro usb phones back then but a type C connection is not a requirement for a phone to support fast charging tech.

I think y9 is better than nova 3i, but it depends on user. For me im not a fan of other brand of phone im using nokia, samsung then iphone, then i thinking to try these brand and im so satisfy and it is worth it im using y9 2019 right now. Even playing games like ROS, asphalt 9, nba 2019 etc are no log at all.

The problem that I see when it comes to video is that you need to be watching 720p and up on the Nova 3i or else you wont enjoy what you are watching.. I am using the nova 3i and I am so happy with it since I love watching HD Vids

@@jayrei3216 no. I own Nova 3i, Y9 & honor 8X. Y9 doesnt have slow-mo, artist mod e & 3D Panorama mode Nova 3i have. Also doesnt have gesture navigation like honor 8X have, Nova 3i got it during OTA updates. But all of it, just small thing that sometimes people doesnt care nor use for day to day basis.

If this could help: They look the same. Y9 is just a lil bit softer because it’s plastic. Both is fingerprint magnet and slippery. 3i has a bigger memory but Y9 is expandable up to 400GB Both charge pretty slow......... (some claims 3i heats up and Y9 kinda don’t) Y9 is 3k cheaper

Reasons why I chose Nova 3i over Huawei Y9 2019. Better Camera Louder Speaker Glass design Bigger internal storage(i also have 128 sd card) Haha Nova 3i is not slippery compared to the Y9 2019 even though Nova 3i has glass design. Satisfied with my Nova 3i😊 Sabi dun sa Huawei Store mismo mas madali malowbat ang Y9 kasi sobrang laki ng Screen nya. Y9 First Choice ko pero mas nagustuhan ko ang Nova 3i. Mas marami features for that 2000 pesos difference. Y9 2019 = 12,990 Nova 3i = 14,990

Kulang sa water mark lahat ng video nyu habang ini explain nyu. Tapos nung nag split screen kayu pag compare palipat lipat ng side yung both phone. Actually just the features itself lamang talaga ang nova 3i. I have a 2i and wanting to buy another choice of phones so I was reading on some reviews. Kulang ata ang oag describe ninyo sa 3i because if mano2 lang talagang lamang ang 3i kesa sa y9. When it comes to gaming 3i has alot more good graphics My own opinion only 😁
