Are these blackout? I live in Tucson and we got really hot sun and summers. Does this get hot naturally because of the black color? Or does the fabric allow heat to get in? Yes I understand the windows and the air flow. I’m asking straight sun heat direct on it. Thank you so much!

Do you guys offer a waterproof storage bag for any of the tents so that they can put stored on a roof rack instead of inside the vehicle when in transit?

We do not have a completely waterproof bag for these due to the size. That said, they can still be stored on a roof rack no problem.

Very cool looking stuff. You would assume it would be the case but is the Tri Layer material waterproof? Seems like an awful lot of stitching.

Yes, our signature Tri-Layer material is waterproof.

For the hub 4 double, is the stove vent hole in the back (so the side furthest away from the door) or is it closer to the door? Asking because if the double is 6’ wide I’d put the air mattress in the back so I don’t have to climb over it every time I enter the tent. But then if the vent hole is not near the door that’s not really an option. Also, do I have to remove the floor every time I pack it up?

It's closer to the door on the Hub 4 Double. If you scroll through photos on the Hub 4 Double page on our website (gofsr.com/products/hub-4-double-tent), you can see where it is in relation to the door. You don't have to remove the floor every time but some people find it easier to pack/unpack that way.

Nope, each Hub Tent in this latest lineup has walls that fully roll up for maximum ventiliation. So you can roll them up during the day and get great ventalitation throughout, then roll them down in the evening when it starts to get cool.

Yes, every Hub Tent comes with a rain fly. Hub 4XL and Hub 4 Double have roll-up walls, but Hub 6XL has removable walls that comes with it.

I own the evolution rooftop tent and their tri layer system is amazing. It is extremely quiet when its windy and insulates better than an average tent. Yes, it absolutely will stop a rainstorm as well. Another thing to note is that my tent has gotten wet on multiple occasions and still doesn't have any weird odors..

Ben is 6' 3" and each window on Hub 6XL is 78”W x 64.5"H

Not sure! Best guess would be the way the camera captured the video. Trust us, it's large. Hub 6XL is almost double the floor space of the Hub 4XL. If you're local to Colorado, you can check it out in our Golden showroom!

Good question! It really comes down to how much space you need inside the Hub and how much space you have for storing it. Hub 4 Double is 72 sq ft. and the bag dims are 54" L x 17" W x 15" H. Hub 6XL is 121 sq ft. and bag dims are 73" L x 16" W x 15" H. Hub 6XL is large and some people might not need that much space, but if you do I'd go for Hub 6XL!
