I understand that sometimes life gets in the way and it's hard to keep things clean. I've been there. But, what I can't understand is how a carpet even gets that dirty. I've had to use a broom on carpeted floors before and it keeps it clean enough in a pinch. My kids are not allowed to have open cups anywhere apart from the dining room. Because my little monkeys are messy and those red stains have made an appearance in my home more than once. You did an amazing job. Love these types of videos :P

Honestly, depression is a hell of a thing. I mean, aside of that, it sounds like there were multiple little little kids, and the more there are, the faster mess seem to multiply. But depression, though. That can turn "I'll do it tomorrow" into "one more day won't hurt" ... it can drain everything you got. The woman mentions that 'their father' used to do stuff, and he's been not in the future since March, so she's taking care of those babies by herself. That sounds exhausting. And those kids are dealing with that too. Even if they're seeing him every week, it's a big change for kids to make. Especially little ones who don't understand why daddy's not around anymore. and that's assuming an amicable divorce, and not, like, a bad divorce. Or death. And this was in 2020, the year of the pandemic. Outside support would be hard to come by. Those little little kids? no more school or day care. Reduced hours at work.... Maybe that purchase of an 80$ vaccuum at walmart was a game breaker for them. Maybe the hours and energy spent was too much. (Gosh, I jsut got diagnosed with anemia the other day. I feel that in my soul. I can't imagine having kids too) There's a lot of stuff we don't know about this family--and honestly, it's none of our business! But we don't know what their life has been over the last year. We shouldn't judge them for it. Just be glad that they're getting help now.
