Wow man, brutal honesty, I respect that. I'm definitely not an Hublot fan, and haven't owned one yet. But I actually disagree with you on this one, at least by what I see of the watch in your vid. I really like all the design details on the watch, from the knurled bezel edge to the misaligned screws. I might even be warming up to Hublot now. Thanks for showing it off!

I am an Hublot fan and some of the comments hurt a bit but I have to say they most likely are very true. The vast majority of youtube watch presenters who sell watches only bring out the positive aspects. This channel is different and the young guy who makes these videos deserves my absolute respect.

I own the Hublot Big Bang 44mm in 18ct Rose Gold and you are right that part does look like plastic but I rough used the watch daily and no scratches there so its not plastic I guess.. maybe they gave a different finish to ceramic or something.

That was an honest going on scathing review and I'm guessing Bijoux Diamonds and Jewels isn't an Hublot Authorised Dealership. They do look slightly tacky but I have heard they are noted for using innovative materials and Jean Claude Biver worked at AP. Usain Bolt promotes them and the recent McGreggor Floyd Mayweather fight. Their magic gold is very resilient. I suppose if you have the cash get one for your collection.

This is the first time I see Dylan beeing so negative about a watch and a watch brand.First of all this is the 2004 model, so it should be compared o the 2004 AP RO 42mm, which is nothing compared to the 2014 44 mm model, and also has some negative things about it.The clasp is not that bad, actually it allows the strap to go underneath the clasp, without a small remaining part that looks kinda goofy, and it also offers balance .Saying that it looks like a Michael Kors, it's kinda extreme also.Rolex is so counterfieted theese days, it requiers a masterful eye to detect a replica from an original, so it is not nice to point the finger towards Hublot. My opinion is that Hublot shines in the 2nd hand market, if you want a Gold/ceramic piece, there nothing better and cheaper.Nowadays Hublot has evolved alot, so most of theese design flaws are gone.But Dylan is right with the depreciation issue, it is not wise to buy a new Hublot, or as a first luxury piece.But anyway, always great to see another review from Bijou, my favourite reviewer so far!!!! Thanks Obsedatr6 First time for everything! I was just a little disappointed with it thats all. Yes you're right the earlier AP might have been a better comparison, however AP has improved that design since then (as you mentioned the newer versions are better) whereas Hublot haven't. The strap/clasp is more comfortable, but no where near as solid and well crafted. Agreed they're great in the used market, however you'll still do your nuts when trying to trade that back in. Nowadays Hublot are the best in clasps abd bands, look at their easy deployment sistem with the Unicos, nothing on the market compares to that easy strap change, and the double deployment system is also very good, oferring great counter- balance to the big size of the watch! What does AP offer with the 44 mm? A normal pin buckle ? For this price range !? Lets see what future brings, Good Luck Dylan, I will further enjoy your great reviews!

Great, honest review. Was hoping you’d mention the misaligned screws hehe. Drives me crazy. My Breitling Blackbird bezel even has aligned screws! You’ve made the same observations as me on this watch and is pretty much why I haven’t purchased one yet.

Is this a ETA movement? I would never spend huge amount of money for a ETA movement watch. I don't have good impression on Hublot as I personally I felt there are a cheap knockoff of AP Royal Oak. Not to mentioned the resale value is extremely poor.

Being a basic finish then as you stated, its easy to see why it's copied so widely. It's hardly going to stretch a good fakers manufacturing capabilities. This is why I would buy a fake Hublot for a few hundred and have no qualms at all....

I can't believe how this cheap looking ugly watch got so many attention... People really are brainwashed by brand names and marketing, it's insane. I dislike everything about this watch, the colour combo, non in-house movement (which is a more fancy version of Valjoux 7750 and it's called HUB44 LOL), the design, the strap (my God the strap is awful) and pretty much everything about it. This watch is ugly. And the fact that they sell it to you for roughly $20K is much more insane than the actual watch itself. Hublot is really a shitty brand, trying to get the attention of spoiled, uneducated and misinformed rich kids.
