Hi Marcus, Nice review as usual! I was looking for a drone ready to take off without having to go through that NFZ et... 😀. I bought this one after having listened to your thoughts. It has the same camera as the mini 3 pro. It is stable in the air, and il has all the intelligent flight modes as well !. I just wished I took the refined one because it has mastershots! They called it blockbuster 😀. Hope hubsan will put out an upgrade including that feature for the classic ace pro 🙏🏿. That would be great !!! 👍🏿 Thanks Marcus

Marcus, Another great revieew. The only thing that got me was there were a few times you caught the props in the shot. Reminded me of the Phantom 3 flying in a strong wind where every once in a while I would get the props or even the Quad legs in the shot. Thanks for sharing.

Looks so far like a very impressive little product. I find that Hubsan does a nice job with there video quality & color rendition. Their mini Pro was a knockout if it wasn’t for the disconnection problems. Nice to see that not an issue with this Ace.

Disconnects, and 3rd degree burns. And buggy firmware. Other that those "insignificant" issues it was a knockout. I think it knocked out a few innocent bystanders with the obstacle attaction... er, did I say attraction? I meant avoidance. Like people should do with Hubsan, lol! J/K. They are ok. In the "Pro toy" category. Lol

I learned a few things 🤣 .. 11:50 what about Canada & Mexico? 🤣 .. 15:50 We now know more right? 🤣 .. 18:12 Battery Struggle Mode .. so don't drain less than 10% for safety.. I have heard that the battery becomes useless after 5 extreme low voltage operations. 🤣 .. But yes, I agree... it is a leg up on the (prototype) HZMP.. It has video feed at idle.. it has a built in fan.. good range.. good flight time.. good FC .. good video and probably great photos. Its always about cost.. but for a Hubsan.. this year has been a great growth year 👍👍

I was impressed, this might be the best Hubsan drone yet. It wasn’t perfect, I saw the horizon tilt, micro shakes in the gimbal. It all comes down to price, I’m not sure how this priced outside of the US. Great unboxing and review. Thanks for sharing.

The video looks much better than previous Hubsan drones. Two negatives for me were that the tilted horizon appeared too often, and I also saw props in the shot a couple of times.

Great review of the new drone Marcus. Interesting it's not allowed to fly in the North America. Looks a bit like my Mavic Air 2. Good first flight, looks like any new drone, some updates but looks okay. Many thanks for sharing the info :)

Yes, I explained that several times in the video Kris! 🤣😂 This guy is not for sale in the US market. In fact Hubsan had to unlock the drone for me to even fly it in the US. EXO and the Blackhawk 2 Pro is the one for our market.

Do you believe the EXO Blackhawk 2 is a better drone or the exact same? I purchased the Ace SE and reviewed it. I used the EXO app to down load the firmware update for the Hubsan app. Works fine.

Hello, Just watched this video followed by the review of the EXO Blackhawk 2 Pro, but I have a question. I am in Ireland and if I buy the Hubsan as is available to me in Europe and then visit the USA, can I now fly my own drone there on vacation, sounds like an odity to me. Dosent happen with any other Chinese Drone "DJI" in mind or Parrot or Autel, I know Hubsan and EXO are working together but surely limiting sales to an area is enough, you dont have to ban flying ones own hobby drone also. Just my thought on it. same comment on EXO Review

Nice review Marcus. It flew better than I would have thought and the camera was decent minus the horizon tilt. Its’ EXO counterpart is priced too high even with the current discount in my opinion though. Hopefully Hubsan/EXO can offer up some competition, but past history and pricing that is too high need to be addressed and overcome. Thanks for more great content my friend!

It would be nice to see Dji use a little bit of cost sensibility with the D3, good drone but also has its issues and surely way overpriced but seems people will accept the cost. Excellent video quality and color saturation which Hubsan seems to be very good at.

This drone and the Exo blackhawk 2 pro are the exact same drone. Exo just has Hubsan make theirs in black and with the "EXO" brand on them. That's it, the only difference.

Hi Marcus, both Hubsan and Fimi like round landing pads, not square. EXO charging ~$200 more to just add some black paint seems excessive. IMO the DJI Mavic Air 2 is still a better buy than this rebranded Hubsan.

Hya Marcus, I wanted to mention the strangest thing that happened today. I went out to practice the hyperlapse and as you read I always launch 30 feet or a bit over, hold for a few senonds and then go to my flight. So I messed up 3 times doing the circle hyperlapse because I FORGOT TO CHECK CCCIIIRRRCCCLLLEEE!! Man I can be really DUMB! So after 3 fails a fw raindrops came and I pressed RTH. I was watching the drone land in a hurry in case rain blew in again and I saw the drone landing far to my right. I check the screen and thought what is wrong? Well, it was trying to land but the pad I use blew about 20 feet to my right and I did not know it. When I stopped the last 10 feet from landing I noticed the pad was not there. It was where the mini 3 was going to land. I found that very odd so next chance I get I will move it after launching to see what happens. I saw it in the screen looking down and it was perfect but not what I expected, how is that for an odd landing huh? I forgot 3 times to press circle on the hyperlapse and never realized it never was going to do a circle and just started taking images. DUMB Ray C. I think it is called a brain fart. LOL All in all I actually remember after going inside that I forgot and realized it. My head was smoking I guess.

I’m surprised by the weight and price that it as screw on props, that’s what pushed me away from the DJI mini series and on to my Air 2s, other than that it looks good though I’d like to see some photos taken with it as I’m not really into doing video 👍

Oh Hubsan! Hahaha haha. What else you got? 😆 🤣 😂 The fact that they STILL are screwing around with Micro USB says everything you need to know about this company. My LED strobes from Ulanzi use USB-C. They probably refuse to pay the USB-IF Compliance fees. Don't make me out as some DJI Fanboy. There's lots of things we deal with in this young, high churn industry. Hubsan is the leader in "Pro-toy" segment! It's not a bad drone, but won't be on anyone's 2022 best list either.

Micro USB in 2022? Come on… this is ridiculous. Everyone is implementing USB type C. Even my cheap chrome book that I recently bought for $70 bucks, have two USB C. This drone is not even cheap and doesn’t make sense to have an outdated port.
