I used the 0x0080 in my Zino 2 but what's minus me is to calibrate the Jimbal and restart Belbdron but I have to do that every time I want to fly with the drone.

I just purchased a pro plus. having problems of it toilet bowling. also moves up and down left and right. I've done all the calibrations any thoughts?

The pro plus seems to have a lot of this going on. It has a new barometer which may be why it Bob’s around do much but toilet bowl is compass related. These are clunky birds that are calibration whores. It’s all about doing them right and never flying with less then 12 satellites.

That battery has a board in it that won’t allow you to balance charge unless you do a modification first which I have also done a video on.

Hello Chris, can u help me on the issue that Zino2+ not connecting to controller. Notthing comes on the controller display. Tried to bind new controller and old, on app there was no drone detected when press REFRESH. when push the bind hole button drone flashes. but cant bind. this drone never crashed. Hello Cris. I have a problem with the (Zino Pro +). Apparently everything works correctly, it does the check and it connects well, but there is no image from the FPV camera. The last day the drone flew a gust of downward wind caused the drone to hit the ground with some harshness. Since then I have no video image. Do you think the camera may have been damaged or if there is a solution. Thanks!! excellent channel

Definitely sounds like the image ribbon cable is done.... If it were me I wouldn’t think twice and just replace it. I have a video showing how to do it.

Did you find a fix? Mine just started giving that error today. I flew it in relatively high wind this morning (not sure if related). For about 20-30 seconds the camera either flipped to a weird angle or something and reported a gimbal failure. Then it went back to normal for the remainder of the flight. Tonight I was going to fly again - even remembered to remove the protective cover before powering on the Zino for a change. During the power up, the software reported a gimbal failure. The status page stated that the gimbal error was 0X0002. There was no crash/hard landing involved. Again, did you or anyone else find a fix?

Hello Chris ! I had an accident with my zino 117s, and of course the gimbal stopped working properly. Camera works but does not respond to command. A code 0X0800 is appearing on the screen. Do I have to change the communication stand? Thanks

Hi i already do the gimbal calibration with the gimbal calibration tool and the software, even i already replace the drivfer fpc cable i am pretty sure the cable is the correct because i scaned the QR code to know which type cable i need, but same error, the hubsan zino don't give a appropriate solution just say find on facebook, they don't have any official place to repair their drones on Mexico, I think even in the whole world it doesn't exist. Pretty bad I am very disappointed with the brand. Do you have any other idea how to fix this error? I really appreciate your help

Do these fixes work for the EXO Blackhawk 2 Pro with code 0X0080? Which is a Hubsan Ace Pro. Any ideas on where to get a gimbal calibration cover for this drone? The site in your link shows sold out.

I would especially if it won’t allow you to use the calibration tool. Generally that’s also needed when you see code 80.

It’s exactly the same process for all Zino’s under the zino 2 but doesn’t mean all act exactly the same. It will work on them all…👍🏻

Always same order of positions left side nose front, nose down, nose facing to me and then nose up and finally on the back, no matter what numbers shows the software or yes?

Hi Chris, thanks for this video. The gimbal error 0x2000 happened right after I did the calibration using the cover and the calibration tool. On Zino Pro. Before it worked well. Could it be I should repeat the calibration multiple times? (tried 2x so far) Or it really means that the cable got damaged during the calibration? Find it unlikely since I was really gentle

Sorry for the late reply but it sounds like the cable has indeed failed if you have that code. If the gimbal is doing absolutely nothing on startup or after it’s started then it’s the cable. Gentle or not these just fail.

However the weird thing is it moves during the calibration at the point when you let the device run through its access points and edges. It moves, but other than that, totally dead. Tried to reinstall many times. Will see if the cable helps when it arrives. Thanks again!

@@QCGUY Hi Chris, did all of that, bought the calibration cover. Tried to calibrate using the tool many times, did not work. Bought the new cable. Guess what, it's not the one. Even though my QR code doesn't say it is Y version, the cable inside actually is Y version. Ordered a new one, for the Y version and waiting for Chinese ti ship it. Nothing is easy when it comes to Hubsan :-)

Hey, first thx for all the help so far. But what about Zino2? I have video and the camera goes up and down at the start but then nothing other than video/picture. And some times after I press calibrate gimbal on my phone the 0x0080 is gone and says normal but still no movement from the gimbal. Do I still need the calibration tool? What should I do? It's driving me insane. :)

The Zino 2 has a classic issue with its ribbon cable failing. Generally this effect video but it could be your gimbal issue as well. There could be dirt particles in the gimbal that you should try to blow out as well just to see.

This is a great Video, i have a Hubsan ZINO PRO +, and i crash it, after a small repair on the back of the GImbal, i receive error 0x0800, i leave the drone for a few months and now trying to fix it, i receive error 0x0002, i start triyng to make the Calibration, and on the MC ALIGN the gimbal doesnt return to the center and fisnih as your video. Also the CAL ACC never starts. I just order and replace Motor flex, and get the calibration tool. I hope you can tell me what do you know about error 0x0002

Hello Chris, i had to change video flex this fix error 0x0002, after that calibration goes great as your video. After tests was successful i apply liquid tape and now drone like new. Now i am recovering my 2 batteries with the blue charger that you recommended (i did the mod for batteries) Thanks for all your videos and recommendations

This is totally off the subject of what you're talking about in this video. I have a hubsan Zino Pro . I bought it used flew iit a couple times. Quickly realize I needed new batteries for the drones so I ordered the 5000 battery. Also went ahead and bought new blades to put on there and Wi-Fi extenders. I get everything and get it put on the Drone Get Ready To Fly and it says data cable is not properly connected from the controller to the the phone. I buy another data cord it don't work. I buy a new remote and it don't work in the light on the side of the Drone is green not red or flashing red. Any words of wisdom cuz I could really use some help ready to give up on this hubsan not wasting a lot of money on it. Now I'm about to get the Fimi se?Was going to order zino pro plus but not after this

Android? If so make sure you are set to airplane mode. Other than that try a different cable.

The update heats up the gimbal cables sometimes depending on the update type and size so it sounds like it fried yours. If you want to send it to me I think I have one set of cables left and they aren’t easy to come by. Email if interested: [e-mail]

It’s almost always the gimbal cable but I can’t tell you without seeing it. If the gimbal is doing nothing I would get a new cable and install it if you are able to.

You have to keep trying. It does it most on the pro plus and it’s frustrating but you just have to keep trying.

Good afternoon people. Today my one month old hubsan zino h117s stopped sending image to the app and started not recognizing the memory card, replaces the memory card and follows the same error. The rest are all working fine, stabilize the gimbal normally, move the camera, etc. The drone connects to the control, calibrates and flies normally. It just has that defect of missing image and card error. There was no fall or anything like that. Has anyone experienced this same problem? Any suggestion? Thanks.

It is the image cable. Replace the image cable and everything will be working again. I fix this problem a lot 👍🏻

That’s a bad one I hate to see when repairing them for customers. Sometimes it’s the cable but often it’s a bad gimbal motor. Your gimbal is totally dead when you have this code so the first thing I do is replace the cable. You can’t buy just the gimbal motors but fortunately I have them. Good luck 👍🏻
