My friend I am a newbie with drone repair but i have there's one thing that continues to perplex me and no one seems to post or describe the answer to this question and maybe I am revealing my inaptitude with this, but what is the temperature you recommend the solder iron be at in order for drone work? I have mine set at 410F, too much? too low? Thank you in advance!

That pid setting can make real acro mode?

I used the 0x0080 in my Zino 2 but what's minus me is to calibrate the Jimbal and restart Belbdron but I have to do that every time I want to fly with the drone.

I have been trying to update the firmware following the step by step instructions in your video, but when connecting the drone to the PC, the program does not recognize the drone and a disturbing beeping starts.

i am about to try one-year later, lets see if DJI have taken up your suggestions which are spot on btw !

Thanks for the procedure. My problem was it would only initialize occasionally on startup, and I'd have to repeatedly restart it until it succeeded. (The look-up/look-down initialization would fail, and leave the camera pointing in an odd direction.) I bought the calibration cover and followed the procedure. Not sure that helped but in reading elsewhere, it was suggested that debris/dust may be preventing the gimbal motor from moving properly. Where I fly we have iron in the rocks, and it sticks to motor magnets, so I took off the camera heat sink, blew into the gimbal housing with canned compressed air. It seems to be working better, so fingers crossed.

Hello. There is an assumption that despite the hovering, with a small critical discharge of the battery, the drone still flies home - RTH.

Hello! Hope you see this and can maybe lend some advice. I bought a Zino Pro Plus a bit back, but didn't fly it right away. When I did, I thought it was awesome. Took a break and then went to fly it again and while about 20 feet in front of me and about 15 feet up the motors just stopped and it dropped to the ground. I did hear something about usb connection right as it happened. Long story short, I found that the controller was bad (would charge but not turn on). I then bought a zino pro drone, controller, etc. hoping to use the controller and also get another drone out of it. What I found out was that the camera on the zino pro did not work. I also found out that the x-hubsan 2.0 app no longer worked and wanted to do an update but then threw out errors that it couldn't do anything. I am addressing one thing at a time. Any ideas about the 2.0 app? No matter where I get it from, it gives me the same error AND it also says that the app is not compatible with the device via usb. YET, no problem when using the x-hubsan app for the zino pro. As for the gimbal and camera - is there any way to test these to determine if the camera itself is bad or a ribbon or ???? Thanks!

Thanks!! I have struggling with connecting the RC Pro with the Mic2 receiver for a week. I’m glad I listened to this because I would have never, ever, thought to raise the gain. As soon as I raised it to 12 I could hear. Crazy the two different DJI products do not have better integration. Guess they don’t talk across divisions. Thanks for this clip!

I definitely getting a 4200 mah GIFI or even two of them, I want 20 + mins flight time.

I have no experience with the first version, but i bought the second version, which i think was called Dronemask 2. The quality of the product is excellent and i woyld have kept them, but i had a terrible time with the lense fogging up. This was in mid summer and temps in the 90s F, but it made them unusable for me. I wish they could add a small fan yo provide dome air movement. Other than this, they seemed to be a great product.

I don’t think the 15-22% comment is the issue. The BMS in the battery is probably set to protect the battery. They need to be willing to sacrifice the battery to protect the drone. Let the battery go into complete failure mode before shutting off like DJI does.

But the skills I've gained from building FPV quads, I finally had the courage to replace the back left arm of my X8 2022 V2. And thanks to your video it was a piece of cake!

Getting a couple new batteries and want to start off with the hobby charger. I"m not clear on how to actually connect the Zino Pro battery to the hobby charger. Is this a cable or adapter of some sort?

How might this setup be accomplished with the DJI Goggles and mini 3 pro instead of the RC remote?

Hi Chris, Does this also work for the EXO Blackhawk Pro 3, which is a Hubsan Drone? I have done the Error Code 0800 calibration through the App on my phone and the gimbal is still not operational. No, I did not crash it. It worked fine yesterday, today it is not working at all. Thanx.

thank you for the video i have a question. my drone fell from a distance about 20 feet due to leaves but it hit grass when it landed. but one of the screws that holds the joint to the body came out a bit sort of stripped out half way. I screwed the joint screw back normal and it does hold... for now will i have to buy a new body to fix the stripped screw hole?

I cant get mine to connect to my new controller at all, I followed this to the T but mine just keeps beeping for like 60 seconds then nothing. the app won't update any firmware either I got like 1019 for RC and 1019C for RC relay and my camera and vision show as N/A. it feels like fimi intentionally messed up the 2020 to get people to buy the 2022.

did they kill support for the 2020 fimi x8 se? the app runs on my android I got picture from my drone camera but nothing else works the lights are red on the remote for bad connection, I go into firmware and my RC firmware is 1019 and my RC relay firmware is 1019C but theres no updates except for a no fly zone thing but when I click update it just says something about no camera, which my camera firmware shows as N/A

Do you still have your Autels? Did they ever fix the crabbing issues, with Firmware updates? I have several DJI drones, AIR 2S, Mini 3, Mini 3 Pro, Mini 4 Pro, AIR 3 & FPV Drone. I just bought the Evo Lite + Premium Bundle & im contemplating sending it back. I wanted a non Geofenced drone, with a decent quality camera. But I've heard a lot of nightmare stores about Autels customer service, being pretty much non-existent. I would hate to open it up, & have my drone have issues that Autel wont help with.

Great video Chris. Wouldn't have been able to repair my gimbal cable without it. The only problem is that I tore the barometer cable in the process! Do you know where I can get one? I've tried Hubsan & Ali Express with no luck.

that drone is Slow -_- Faith Mini 2 can do 14 meters a second in sport mode -_-
