One of the greatest things I took from this interview was the level of integrity that Hucky has. I never get tired of hearing these stories about Prince especially when the person is being respectful about it! 💜☂️💜

You hear from many of the people that worked for or with Prince, that he was fair and brought the best out of people. These people say that they were helped to do things they never thought they could achieve. I think he was a great mentor, motivator and teacher.

once again, fine job gentlemen, Prince was blessed to have a ridiculous amount of people with great character and integrity in his life. It's unusual for a public figure of his stature.

I was at an LA club in '90. Prince was sitting at a table with a bodyguard in the middle of the club. I walked up to pay respects and when I extended my hand to shake; his bodyguard reached out and shook my hand (on Prince's behalf) as Prince nodded. Maybe it was Hucky. Prince was cool though and smiled at what I said and in no way rushed me off. But then I thought, "Damn, I'm probably blocking him from women approaching him," so I walked off on my own. Cool.

This was GREAT to hear about all that goes into the protection of Principals. Hucky is a great communicator and I can see why he was good at his job. Also, I'm glad to know he will take Prince's personal business to the grave with him. Loyalty is a must in that line of work even after the person is not longer here. I can tell he has integrity and great character.

I am not sure, because it's too long ago, but I think, 2 friends of mine and I were in an elevator together with Sheila E and Hucky. It was Lovesexy tour, the hotel in Frankfurt was Intercontinental? and we were teenagers. Just for fun we went into the hotel, in the elevator and up to the top floor. When we went outside the elevator we saw horns lying everywhere and all of a sudden a bodyguard with a poker face stood in front of me. It was a short experience, we had to go back in the elevator with the bodyguard and Sheila E and no one talking, we had so much respect for that strongly built bodyguard haha We stayed in front of the hotel, 20 minutes later Prince came out, I called his name and he waved his hand to us and went into a limousine. The concert was at the stadium and I remember people selling copies of Black album on cassette tape. I was 13, my two friends 15 and 18.

Great podcast Michael, man Hucky was around when prince's most beautiful women were around, 83' prince had 5 girlfriends and maybe 3 lovers that we know about, same 84' five girlfriends, same 85' same 86' and 87' four girlfriends, 89' five girlfriends, 90' four girlfriends, 91' four girlfriends, these are different ladies, except a few had a couple of years with prince and counted more than once. I wonder what men like Hucky and the other men around there were thinking when they saw Denise, Anna Garcia and Kim Basinger walking around with prince and staying the night, we know security knew who was in the house at all times. Can you imagine seeing Denise come over waiting for prince's attention, she really was eye candy, but I think Elisa fiorello was his prettiest, I didn't count her as a girlfriend because she was a lover, you can go watch her interviews in 1990 and see for yourself. Must of been the days for the men standing around. Prince was balling. I'm glad he had so much fun, he worked hard every day and deserved some fun. Michael we enjoy what you're doing, keep on, keeping on. Love your podcasts.

She left him for the last time in 86, too bad they couldn't agree on their love story, he was hurt, you can hear it in his lyrics Empty room and forever in my life, his heart is crying through his vocals on the live performances, she was a good girl and good for him, but he needed to tour and make money.

I was working the Victory Tour at the Houston Astrodome. I was driving the main stage crew back and forth from the event to their hotel downtown. Getting out of the parking lot of the Astrodome after the show was total chaos. The crew was telling me to drive fast and cut people off. I’m driving this big van, full of people, all yelling at me, (in a daring but completely playful and respectful manner) to cut people off to get out of there. This one man with his wife and young son in their car got PISSED that I cut him off and decided to jump out and get confrontational. He got out of his car, while his wife started freaking out. He was approaching me like he wanted to kick my ass. What he didn’t know what that there were a dozen big MF’ers in my van that jumped out of the van so damn fast and surrounded the old guy. He was like, “OH SHIT.” I just looked at the old guy like, “Sorry dude. Shoulda stayed in you car.” 😂🤣🤷🏼♂️It was funny seeing a fully triggered old guy go from pissed to pissing his pants. I later got fired for watching the show which we weren’t allowed to do. I got transferred to stage tear down duty, (which I kinda liked honestly).I got to go to the ceiling of the Astrodome, so, it worked out.

If you knew only For You, you would never think the creator of that album could ever become successful. For me the only not good work by Prince, truly speaking a bad debut. But the following albums were great. He was not a genius, but a hard working man who became a genius refering to today's music standards. Great interview with great questions and answers. Sunset sound studio has just posted more than 3 hours about Prince (part 1 and 2) in the famous studio, it's an interview with Prince's studio assistant Peggy Mac, who worked for him for 5 years
