What a delightful place to stroll an open market! The breakfast looks delicious! So many cool vendors at the market.. tasty treats, produce, flowers, clothes, jewelry, and decor, loved all 18.5 min. I can’t believe the great variety they have here. Great film friend!

In the late 80s to mid 90s there was about 3 absolute banging game stalls that sold consoles games the lot where you could trade your gaming stuff in, I remember going on a saturday sadly tho CEX killed them off😢

@@bigjob4096 Yes I bet there were some fantastic retro stalls with games even in cassettes lol. Yes CEX and similar shops have been the decline of independent second hand shops such as Franks and Becktons to name but a few that I remember in Huddersfield lol

Yes it was amazing food, I had to wait and watch them cook it all fresh and it smelt amazing but unfortunately I could only order and eat so much but will certainly be going back. Some fantastic aerial shots completed by a very tasty looking brekkie and lunch at a corking price. Markets really HAVE changed a lot in the past 20 years. Sure there are still those stalls selling cheap tatt but now dedicated specialist vendors have appeared. Your smile is infectious too. Love your interviews.

My hometown Huddersfield, been going to the open market for over 50 years as a young child with my father, used to be a lovely fish mongers at the other side of the market plus a second hand market on Tuesdays and Saturdays!

@@ng6148 It was a great experience soaking up the market atmosphere and seeing things from a different viewpoint rather than just turning up in the morning, buying things and leaving. If you get chance in the future, go again and if you have moved away and aren’t able to then I will just have to carry on producing videos of places you remember for you instead lol ; )

The original Monday market was on a large tarmac area by where Perrys car dealer is now. This building was the wholesale market until the 80's when it was changed to the open market.
