FYI there are two types of butane can of that size. I always get the "safe" ones. They vent before failing. The cheap ones just explode like pipe bombs. That said, you can get even better results from cans of RAID insecticide and other domestic cans filled with ingredients and propellants that are both flammable. They tend to heat up until the point of critical failure and then detonate in a huge mushroom cloud.

If you pause after each explosion you can see the cans being projected out at extremely high speeds. Two explosions after the slow mo capture of the one that fly's out of the fire and explodes on the ground you can see it if you watch to the right in real time it must of went over 1000 feet away

I loved the cya one and if you do this again do welding it makes it much stronger as the bolts most likely blew out of the holes and into space or something welding keeps it from ripping itself apart it will most likely bend but braking unlikely
