YES! Funny enough, I use my editing time as a last pass inspection on clothing, as it's the best lighting these garments are under while they're in my care...I saw it the second it came on screen, and it's, literally as I type, being pre-treated. Thank you though!!! I NEVER want to miss something like that, so never hesitate to let me know JUST in case it gets past me!

Judy Blue just calls it odd sizing. I would not list as juniors. The 9 for example fits more like a women’s 10. Then most people can actually size down in them too so they enjoy the vanity sizing.

Judy Blue uses jr. sizing but list it under the waist size. I sold a NWT flare tummy control for $70 in less than 24 hours. So look for flare and tummy control. (You can see the panel on the inside front) The skinny still sell but for $30ish and take longer.

Awesome haul as usual!! Question for you. I found a vintage Aileen West gown at the bins. I was able to Google info and at some point Aileen West changed to Eileen West. I can’t seem to find the date of the changeover - I do see references to 1978. Do you know the date of the name change? You know more about this than anyone on KZbin!!! 😊😊😊😊😊

Thank you! If memory serves me right, I believe it was within a few years of the founding (I do know they were founded in 1978, so those references make sense...), and it was changed because there was another company out there with the name Aileen West, so I'd imagine it happened fairly quickly after the business opened and gained popularity. I'm going to guess early 80s - like 81 or 82

I’m taking my daughters to Cali next week. I think the Newport Beach Anaheim area. Any good bins or thrift around there? Mainly going to beach and Disneyland but would love to thrift. My teens love thrifting

Ohhhh - I've GOT you! Ok, so the Bins location in Orange county isn't far from Disneyland - kinda on the way to Newport from Anaheim. You'll find it on the map under "Goodwill Marketplace" in Santa Ana and there's both a bins location AND a regular Goodwill store on-site for a little bit of a double dip. I DO recommend, if you're going to do the bins, that you get there early - they have good stuff, but they don't change the bins throughout the day, so be there for opening if you want the pick of the litter. If you want a little bit more splurgy thrift, the Ticktocker Thrift in Costa Mesa is fantastic - it's definitely highly curated, and the prices are higher, but not, like, "vintage store" prices. Also! If you want a fun spot for a meal while you're up in Anaheim - check out the Anaheim Packing District - it's really close to Disneyland, it's a great food hall with tons of different options for food in an old Sunkist packing house. Have SO much fun!!
