For the twins when they're older, I think it would be cool to give them houses but to have them as two separate houses or townhouses on one lot!

I love the idea of adding a quirky nanny-maybe even a sibling or cousin of Theo or Anna? A relative who has a lot of love and is great with kids but doesn’t exactly have a lot of marketable skills and otherwise struggles to hold down a job, so it starts out as Theo and Anna just offering to let them stay with them for a bit but before they know it they’re a full time family member.

I think the grandparents would be lovely next. Living next to grandma and grandpa is just amazing for the kids, so they can stay with family when the parents are working. And the grandparents, I'm sure, would love to have the kids over. But also, then it would make sense to get a live-in nanny when they move away from the neighborhood as the grandparents aren't as close anymore. Also, IDK if the twins are gonna have more siblings or if they are teens next time, so a nanny or fabulous butler is on the table then.

I think it might have been better to do a full laundry room in the house. Rich people wouldn't want their laundry in a hallway 😆😆 maybe willows family own the towns museum and that could be where they got all their money from? I think willows house should very modern and very different the general aesthetics of the town. Multi pools / water features etc

This lady is so knowledgeable about the build stuff. She has a great eye for detail and designing buildings. And she must also have an inexhaustible amount of patience? I've done numerous remodels of the commercial lots. Some residential lots. But with my builds, I concentrate on making them user-friendly. Beauty is the last thing that I care about. But this lady does it all. Wow! Blows my mind.

For a million, I think you should do one of those where the bottom floor is some sort of café/store and the top floor is an apartment. You can then use the basement as 'storage'.

A home for Theo's retired parents will be adorable. Then they can spend holidays together. They can have a playroom for the twins, a greenhouse, a huge diningroom and lounge both with fireplaces. The family can spend winter fest there and open presents together. You can have a basement with either Theo's lazy brother (that's never moved out) or it can be a photography studio. Maybe that's the mother's hobby now that she does not work anymore. The dad can have a beautiful garden, full of exotic plants, fountains and bird feeders. One big dog, two cats and some chickens. That's why the grandkids love animals so much cause grandpa had so many different animals. Ooh and a pond full of fish, frogs, geese and other critters.

Next lot can be Theo’s paternal home with his grandparents and his father living there with a couple of pets. Theo’s mother is sadly not around anymore…she was the one who was interested in plants and gardening. After she passed away Theo inherited the bar and his father stay at home and spend time with his old parents. The house can be in the same style like other Barrelwood homes with some modern extension at the back where Theo’s mom had a really huge multi story greenhouse. After the kids came along their grandfather built a treehouse for them. The house can also have a secret library in the attic or other secret rooms as it is very old.

Not technically for the next house but in the next neighborhood with things getting more expensive, I totally agree with some of the comments. Like the community lot being a mall. You could do laundry (dry cleaning), a gym, and a paint and sip. The twins should DEFINITELY have a duplex/ townhouse where they can really showcase their own styles but still be close to each other and of course Alf has to live with violet lol I loved the idea about having a "small" 4 unit apartment. And a possible love interest for 1 of the kids living there. I 100% agree that our rivals should live in THAT neighborhood and I don't think we should move there, I just think after their midlife crisis and maybe a visit to one of the older homes they realize how blessed they are to have made it so far. Idk that's just where I saw it going. But either way I'll be tuned in to see whatever you do because I'm totally invested now. 💕💕

Heyy syd , just a quick tip if you can't figure out where to put all those money left , try buying the vault or one of the storage boxes and put expensive stuff in it . In the vault you can directly put cash And in this way the lot will cost more but it won't be visible :-D

That is so cool that the Sims actually added dip candles. I don’t know what they’re actually called but those candles look exactly like the kind of candles that people dip liquid wax into and then they carve away the pieces after it’s dried to make a cool design on it I was just not expecting that kind of thing to be in the Sims

I go thru phases where I want to either live in a cottage in the forest with mountain backdrop, or get myself a tiny house that's pricey but just for me, or live in a mansion with secret rooms and doors. So this mansion is making me want to build my own mansion in the sims and make my sims live the lavish but mysterious lifestyle where they got hidden doors and split level and stuff.

I think we should stick to the main family for the $1M house because it is such a major milestone that Anna has been striving for. The kids could be teens now preparing for the skills they will need for their future careers. Ash can continue his gaming by preparing to go into the Gamer Branch of the Tech Guru career where he will need an official gaming office to work from. Violet can either continue her no bs lifestyle and maybe go into the Law Career or use her book smarts to start the Rocket Science skill and go into the Astronaut Career. This is such an awesome series, can't wait to see where this family goes next.

A good way to use up a bit more money if you're struggling is to put a wallpaper on the outside wall of the basement! I always use a brick or stone if I'm trying to eat up more of a budget for things! It doesn't use a lot, but a little bit!

Building a pool on a deck or platform makes the pool more expensive. You can also built the pool area in a more separated way with the lounge chairs, the umbrella table in between and a few drinks. Do you wanna make it even more expensive? Add a jacuzzi

honestly my first time watching this series but I've just created like a little scenario in my head I don't know if that's how the rest of the series is going to play out or what but my idea is that Theo and Anna are seeing this new competition and feeling like they need to fit in with this higher society if they want to keep progressing so they tried changing their whole style and how they present so that they can fit in and maybe make more money so that their kids can have such great lives Even if they are forgetting like their own personalities and what they love in a home And maybe they realize eventually that they're not happy with all of the changes that they're making to themselves and they do get a bigger house and they do progress but they maintain their own style and what they love instead of what they're told they should like

I think maybe Willows home for the multimillion dollar home could be a cool idea. It could be a sorta old money type of thing, very victorian and stuffy on the inside. That's why she doesn't like Anna's family cause they're new money. It could be very polar opposite. Very sophisticated and nicely trimmed garden and she has a politician for a husband, maybe the mayor of the town! He could be called something vsry basic like Mark or something lol. And then they have 2-3 kids who can be like rivals for Ash and Violet and they could be called more old-timey floral names like Timothy, Clementine, and Iris. I think for the next lot it could be a house that Theo and Anna bought for their parents and its sorta a brownstone/duplex so each in law has their own side. Anna didn't come from money because her parents had to work to support her and her many younger siblings, so it's like their forever family home. It could be like the interior looks very industrial and refined while the furniture features a lot of homey and cluttered items from their previous house. While Theo was an only child from a middle class family so their house is a lot more modern and cluttered with more family memorabilia and retirement activities I'm comparison.

Another idea: maybe you could experiment with CC for the last few builds? HeyHarrie and Felixandre, for example, make stunning Maxis Match CC and the items tend to be very expensive. Plus, I’d love to see you work with their stuff, and it might keep you from getting bored with the same items over and over again.

I have a suggestion for the next neighbourhood: how about you make one lot an apartment complex? if you make say 4 apartments (with all the necessities) you might be able to keep a more casual style in each of them. what if someone like the nanny’s criminal twin sister lived there or maybe one of the twin’s future love interest? it’d also be interesting to see a building in a super rich neighbourhood that isn’t inhabitat by incredibly rich people Also, I know Sims doesn’t let you make functional apartment (wtf sims?!) but we could just pretend?

I'm not sure if this has been suggested but you could continue the series with the children. Moving them to a different place, then renovating their other homes in worlds like San Myshuno or Evergreen Harbour.
