Don’t feel like the Lone Ranger out there! I had about a 5’ Bull shark come up and try to snatch a redfish off my stringer while I was anchored in my kayak. I had the stringer hooked on the side of the kayak and it spun me sideways. Lucky I had a sit in Heritage kayak because I’d been thrown out in the water. It broke the reds back and left some teeth marks, but I got to see it when it surfaced with the red in its mouth. I think I crapped my shorts more than you. My wife seen me from a distance and thought I hooked another big red, but when she seen snatch up the stringer and anchor making a beeline towards her screaming like a little girl, she started loading up faster than me.

If you're outdoors long enough you may experience an animal anomaly. Floridians know there could be a gator in any body of water. In NE Florida I've had my share of encounters in the kayak with gators and sharks in areas you'd least suspect. I loved the editing with the sound bites to keep it rated G. Still laughing at the video. 🤣

I've seen your videos of you fishing my stomping grounds of Galveston, Tx and you would think they would be no alligator gar in West bay because well it connects to the ocean right off San Luis pass, but them suckers wash up after a hard rain from either Bastrop Bayou or Chocolate Bayou and you'll have your run in with them, last year they caught 3 or 4 6ft plus alligators as well. Seems from your first day of prefishing clip y'all had heavy rains, maybe that bit of fresh water pushed him in there while chasing mullet. I could be wrong but if it was a gator I would've done the same thing you did and bolted out of there so fast you would've thought I had a trolling motor on haha🤣🤣
