Having everything inside gift bags, etc maintains an element of surprise for those of us watching, as well. We don't see what the item is until you do. 😊 For many years I had a crank radio, which also had a light, to ensure having access to news, etc and illumination should the power go out, etc. (I'm in earthquake country.) Didn't want to rely on needing batteries although I have plenty of rechargeables. Those lanterns are popular sellers in the US, especially for those with 'preparedness' kits. With all that Mother Nature delivers in the various parts of the country, very handy. Even if just want to sit outside after dark and want to be able to see around you...even at the lowest level.

Fun Fact: my younger sister had two sets of twin girls. The 1st set was born on the 4th of July (1992). They were our little firecrackers!!!! Of course they are grown and one of the 1st set of twins has a son and 2 daughters. The girls are named Faith and Hope. Hi from another Carol! The story behind the taste of the Hershey Bar is that Milton Hershey wanted to be the first to make milk chocolate in America. In Europe, they used powdered milk to make theirs and Hershey's factory was surround by many dairy farms and he wanted to use fresh milk in his candy. The problem was that the fresh milk didn't keep the candy stable and fresh and would spoil too soon. He found if he soured and boiled the milk it stayed stable and he could support and use the milk from local dairies. His milk chocolate worked well with the making of candy bars and the soured taste counter acted the sweetness of the fillings or what the chocolate coated. It is used to coat Reeses and KitKat, the filling of M&M's among others and in the early years he sold his chocolate to other companies to make their chocolate coatings. With the plain bars or kisses , it is better to let it melt slowly on your tongue, it is not as rich tasting as other brands. The first time you tried the Hershey bar on your unboxings was just days after I saw a TV show about the creation of Hershey Chocolate and the city of Hershey in Pennsylvania!

You never own a cat they allow you to take care of them. I have about 20 cats now gray black yellow and calico. They keep mice and snakes away. I am way out in the countryside I can see the edge of the earth from the back door so my cats are my kids. 👍
