HUGE Art Supply Haul 2021 🎨

The biggest art haul video I've done to date! These are my art supplies from my recent art supply hauls from Michaels, DickBlick, Hobby Lobby and Amazon. Brought home some supplies I've used before including an electric eraser, a bunch of polymer clay tools, new graphite pencils for some illustrations I've been working on. As well as supplies that I love and continue to use on a daily basis. In this video I will be showing a bunch of supplies as well as trying them out.

I use make brushes with my pastels. They just have the right firm but softness to them and the hairs are short which is the main part. A lot of my art friends and I use the brand eco tools, these make up brushes are fantastic. 😊

That's exactly why I like them as well @Gilina Cook! Short and soft, which for me is the perfect combo. Haven't tried them with pastels but I'll have to check that out :)

@@RachelleByersArt I can’t stand the feeling the sound doesn’t bother me I have the same feeling with cotton swabs and cotton balls as a nurse for 27 years before being diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer , it caused problems getting pills out of a new bottlw

Love the Zeta series and the beta bystillman and burn , I bought mine at the oldest art store in the USA didn’t know it was only 45 minutes away from home I spent hours in there and spent way too much, but it was enjoyable! I love being able to touch things I’m a tactile girl I guess lol

Gamblin is a great oil paint brand. You're also pretty safe with Winsor amd Newton.

Thanks @Maria Rev. I used to use winsor and newton but since it had been a while since painting with oils I wasn't sure if the brand was still a good bet or not

Did u get the elf brushes at the dollar tree? They’ve also upgraded their art department it’s called crafters square I got the scrapers there and many sizes of canvas panels as well as stretched canvases , stylus”s, cheap sets of brushes which I use for gouache or just to play around, the thing that pulls up masking fluid forget what it’s called , I have several of all the sizes they have of canvas panels from there maybe 8 different sizes and other things art store charge an arm and a leg for

Silly question. Does the fixative make the pages in your sketchbook stick together?

Not a silly question at all and I worried about the same thing when I first started using it. I always make sure that I keep my sketchbook open for a while before closing it, after the fixative has been applied and have not had any issues with the pages sticking.

Are the black wing the 602 series I know they’re pearl and matte but I know they have several different numbers

Great question. I believe they are but am not 100%. I’ve looked at both the packaging and my online order. There are reviews talking about how these 602s are slightly different then their predecessor

I’m not sure. I’m sure if you’re in a well ventilated room you’re fine. If not then it might be a good idea because it kind of goes everywhere

Hello Frieda! Hauls are my least favorite videos ☹️ Although I’m sure its *never* the intention of the creator haul videos make me feel crappy about the art supplies I do own and I feel like I need to buy more. Because I feel icky I can’t enjoy seeing new products. This is my issue, not the creator, just saying. It’s surprising how successful haul videos are and people seem to like them, the algorithm likes them, just not me.

If it’s any consolation I feel weird making them because I don’t want it to come off like I’m boasting about all of the supplies I bought…but I enjoy seeing art hauls on other channels which is why I post them on mine. Hopefully people will see my art haul video, like it and maybe I’ll have a chance that the algorithm will like me 😉 hope you have a great rest of your day
