When buying art supplies, NEVER buy anything with the "Bob Ross" name. The profits only go to the evil Kowalskis. Bob's family gets nothing. His son cannot even use Bob's name

It is sad, Bob Ross Inc. Is now own by Joan Kowalski the daughter Annette and Walt. While Steve Ross Bob's son and painter himself cannot even used his father's name without being sued.

The fact that the Kowalskis got away with what they did and the very person they were taking advantage of was Bob Ross of all people is absolutely horrendous. Zero shame whatsoever.

I grew up watching Bob and my daughter loves the reruns. When she learned that he is buried 3 miles from our home she wanted to pay her respects by painting a small, picture and leaving it on his grave. We visit him at least twice a month as it’s very peaceful to sit there and feel his presence.

Everyone who loves/supports Bob Ross and what he did for us all should come together to make the Kowalski business go under. Don't buy anything from them. Let them tank into bankruptcy. Once they no longer own it, it can be rebuilt into what it should be: a family business/enterprise for the Ross's.

Bob Ross went global for a damn good reason...people liked him, they enjoyed watching him and listening to him talk, watching him paint and just being one of the most amiable and genuinely nice guys on TV. This man was known, loved and respected by people from all around the globe. I would also bet that 99% of his viewers never picked up a paint brush in their lives, it wasn't about the beautiful paintings he produced every episode, it was about sitting down with Bob for half an hour or so and just relaxing in good company. His stuff is still shown on UK TV to this day. The man is a legend. His family were robbed by soul sucking corporations.

The main reason you don’t see a Bob Ross original painting in public or a museum is because a specific Shelf Company keeps buying them. The main belief is that the Kolwaski’s own this company in the attempt to own all of Bob Ross’ works. There is no public information stating if this is true or not.

I used to watch this guy pretty regularly as a kid. I didn't know it then, but it was incredibly meditative for me. I'd get all kinds of overstimulated/revved up after a couple of hours of Atari or playing outside(read Bloodsport) with the guys. Then I would eat with the family, do my homework, and watch The Joy of Painting. Dude was a legend.

A classmate who attended college with me once attempted to host a Bob Ross themed paint night at a small local art studio she worked in. Within a few days of the posting going up, she got served a cease and desist order from the conservators of the Ross Estate. After reading further into the terrible situation with how things turned out after Bob’s passing, it kind of didn’t surprise me so much then as it did when she first told me. He must be rolling in the grave to see how his life’s work have been so successful and influential, yet so much legal and financial turmoil from the Kowalski’s administration.

I grew up watching the reruns on British television back in 2008-12 When I used to stay at my grandparents house on the weekends. Other than cooking with my nana or making and painting models with my grandad, It was always really nice watching Bob Ross paint in the evening. Bob ross Has been such an influence on my life that I took up art form a young age and although I peruse it more like a hobby now when I was younger I dreamt nothing more than to be a successful painter like Bob. It's a shame he died before I was even born, I would have loved to have met him.

Bob Ross kind of went through rough times, he was in the army and vowed to never yell again, and he was always a calm person and it clearly shows, and another thing that happened to him was so very wrong, because the people that produced the show with him took his money, and lastly the other sad part is he had to keep his hair, he couldn't shave or cut it off because it would ruin the brand. 😢
