This was such a beautifully curated selection of books, Miranda. I recently sent the Miss Dior book to my sister for her birthday. (She is a big reader of non-fiction.) Of course, I have my eye on many of the books for myself, in particular the gorgeous edition of Little Women. I'm currently re-reading my little paperback and have fallen in love with it once again. Such a well written, wise novel about family and learning to be true to oneself.

Such a lovely video, thank you! I'm actually re reading Little Women and my tatty copy leaves a lot to be desired compared to that beautiful edition. So many of these books look amazing... The Elizabeth Barrett Browning biography sounds especially good, and A Poet for Every Day of the Year is tempting me very much! The Comfort Book is a really great recommendation considering the state the world is in right now. I must must must get the The Adventures of Miss Barbara Pym, but I asked for The Feast this year after seeing you review it in one of your wrap ups, so looking forward to that. Love your brooch by the way :)

I've loved both this and the stocking stuffer videos. Such wonderful gift giving recommendations, and some I definitely will buy for myself. Hello Miranda, I am listening to a very cosy Christmas Story and I think you might like it too. It‘s a german middlegrade Book (or maybe YA) about a Girl in a Castle in the Mountains. It Is friendly and cosy and has some crime in it too. It‘s by Kerstin Gier „Castle in the Clouds“. Have yourself a very nice first Advent- greetings from Germany! Ann
