I’m Korean-Canadian so it especially warms my heart to see you introduce and appreciate works by Korean authors in a way that neither highlights exoticism nor underlines its importance solely based on racial differences. Thank you for what you do, you’re an inspiration for all! Stay safe and healthy💜💜

I just started The Unbroken today! So far it's really good. I'm betting you would absolutely love Nathan Lowells Trader Tales: The Golden Age of the Solar Clipper. The first book is Quarter Share and follows a boy named Ishmael who has to get off a corporate planet after the death of his mother, which leads him out into the deep dark. If you can find the podcast of it read by the author himself, I would highly recommend getting it.

Also how did you make a decision bout which to read first Stormlight Archive book1 or Mistborn book 1 ?
@maudhaugland58223 жыл бұрын
People usually recommend reading Mistborn first
@PokeLSouma3 жыл бұрын
It's kind of a matter of preference really. I started with Stormlight and felt like it was better for me, but it depends on you as a reader. Stormlight is MASSIVE and it takes a long, long time to really kick off. People often say to start with Mistborn because it's generally an easier read (shorter & and faster) so you learn to trust in Sanderson as a writer and have an easier time accepting the slower pacing of the first Stormlight. Yet if you know you don't have a problem with slower starts, Stormlight is just as well to start with, as most people like that series better as a whole. But there's no "better" start to Sanderson's works really.
