Keep and read Archenemies! You definitely wanna continue in the Renegades Series because Archenemies has so many shocking things that happens in the book. Personally, I thought Archenemies was better than Renegades.

I borrowed "My Lady Jane" from the library and I really enjoyed it! Go the library route! Bahaha. I've borrowed "The Devouring Gray" and "Sherwood," but I haven't sunk my teeth into either. I'm glad that you spoke about The Decvouring Gray! I'll be sure to read it!

If you do continue and read Archenemies, I would highly recommend the audio book. I just finished it, and it is very well done. The story is a bit of a slow burn in the middle, but that's what makes audio so great.

Definitely understand about thrillers. I only keep my favorites but unless a long time goes by & you forget the twist or you're like me and like to re-read looking for the clues knowing the ending, I can see why that genre gets unhauled. I pretty much unhaul anything I don't think I will ever re-read (so nothing below 4 stars basically). We are renovating our extra bedroom into a little library room so can't wait to organize our books on new bookcases! Just unhauled a good bit myself. I've been doing better with buying as well. Stopped doing as many cover buys ;)

I actually DNFed All the Birds in the Sky and unhauled it too! Yeah The Surface Breaks is SO beautiful but SO bad lol. I liked Cruel Beauty but it's a hard one to recommend to people! it's definitely super weird haha. And I loved Crimson Bound much more. I also felt like To Kill A Kingdom was just okay! I'm also gonna try the Tithe series if it really is going to be reedited and republished! Congrats on getting your shelves to where you're happy with them! and same with book-buying habits. Different things work for different people and I don't feel like there's one "right way" to bookshop, but I know it can be kind of challenging to recognize that your habits have changed and to be okay with that, if that makes sense!

I am very pleased that we talked you into saving Roar! It was such a great surprise for me this year, and I genuinely think you would enjoy it too. I support your decision regarding Circle of Shadows, because, in complete opposition to Roar, I really don’t think you’d end up enjoying it. Also, if it factors in at all into your decision, I gave Ace of Shades 4.5 stars... You are making me want to go through my shelves and check if I really want to keep everything on there or not 😂

My opinions on the Renegades series by Marissa Meyer. I felt that the first half or so of Renegades totally dragged on and then the pace picked up at the end. I think it took me about a month to read all up and about 2 weeks to read the first 100 pages. I was hesitant to pick up Archenemies because Renegades was the first MM book that I didn't love (apart from Fairest & Stars Above). I received Archenemies for Christmas and because the paperback is smaller than Renegades, I decided to pick it up. And I LOVED it. I flew through it and it took me about 2 days to read because I was so engaged in it and now I can't wait for Supernova to come out. All good if you don't want to read/keep it, just thought I would share my thoughts about it :)

I think they just announced the sequel to Roar, but I haven't read the first one yet. I definitely love some of these books and don't like or don't care about others, but I am all for unhauling books! I don't usually film it but I unhaul books regularly.

I thought Arch Enemies was so much better than Renegades. It was very fast paced and the last few chapters had me so anxious because I was just waiting for everything to unravel. There is a bit of convenient plotting in it and some slow parts but ultimately I really liked it and it definitely made me want to finish the trilogy

I unhauled Toil And Trouble as well. I didn’t care for Pride; I couldn’t get into Daughter of the Pirate King series. I didn’t love To Kill A Kingdom or Ace of Shades. Awwww you didn’t care for Children Of Blood and Bone; I actually loved it. I liked Caravel but I don’t think I will continue with the series though. I got rid of my copies for Truthwitch series and I couldn’t get into Catching Stars it wasn’t holding my interest. Love your thoughts on all of your books 📚

I had the same feelings about Three Dark Crowns. I would continue the series based on the ending if it were just a duology, but the fact it is stretched into four books makes it really undesirable.

A few years ago, I read We Were Liars by E Lockhart because it was part of the Zoella book club choice for 2016 (Zoella is a KZbinr from england) but I sadly did not like it. The words were jumping all over the place and I was hoping to like as Zoella loved it but I was disappointed xx

I would skip The Assassin Game altogether. Nothing happens in the first half of the book and even once the plot does pick up, it’s not super interesting. I love “bad” mystery/thrillers and that one was lackluster even for me.

I enjoyed the Renegades Series! Book one was good, but the second book, Archenemies, is pretty lukewarm to me. It focused more on Adrian and Nova's slow burn relationship/ romance. Its not as action packed as the first book, but I am someone who loves to read and 'ship' characters, so I liked the romance on the second book.
