Man, did I hardcore feel you when you were talking about the teen book section being limiting and underwhelming back in the day. It seemed like it was basically all contemporary teen fling romances back then, didn't it? And as a big fantasy/sci-fi/thriller reader, I was so uninspired. I'm so glad that young adult books are SO much more diverse and interesting now!

Twilight was something I enjoyed immensely because I was 13 when I read it. Had I been older, I doubt it would have worked its magic on me to the same degree. Also, so glad I’m not the only one who read SVH! My library was severely underfunded as a kid, so those were a good chunk of the children’s section of the library.

I honestly have been loving your series about series videos! And it totally has me wanting to catalog just how many series I’ve managed to read since I was a kid too. We have quite a number of series in common, which obviously means we have good taste 😉 If you intend to reread LOTR and The Chronicles of Narnia in 2020, I am going to join you for sure! And obviously, I am so down for any SJM series rereads.

The series I've completed so far this year are Harry Potter, Fantastic Beasts, Throne of Glass, Young Bond, Hush Hush, Infernal Devices, Dark Artifices, Anna Dressed in Blood, Hunger Games, To All the Boys I've Loved Before, Grant County, The Selection. I should be finished with the Grisha trilogy by the end of this month. I know some of them are duologys and trilogys but I have got quite a lot to go through sometime this year and 2020 ❤❤❤. Have u finished the Stalking Jack the Ripper series? It's one of the series I really want to read but as I live in the UK I can only order them online but it's a series I'm definitely going to read next October because Jack the Ripper - evil person. Very creepy too 😦

Correct me if I’m wrong but the upside of unrequited is not part of the creekwood series. It has nothing to do with the characters/story in Simon and I checked goodreads and it said it was a stand-alone

Hold up, you pre-ordered the 1st Harry Potter before it came out?!!! Does that mean you own a really rare first edition or had the Harry Potter books already gained notoriaty from the UK by then? 😱✨⚡️👏☺️ I was a big fan of Meg Cabot as a young teenagers, so her Princess Diaries series and Missing series were a must read for me. Also really liked the series Mates, Dates by Cathy Hopkins (UK author). Now the one that had me in fits of laughter throughout reading them had to be the Confessions of Georgia Nicolson series by Louise Rennison (again UK author). The movie "Angus, thongs and full-frontal snogging" didn't do the hilarity of them justice. Wonder if I would still find them as funny today, but I'm not much of a re-reader though, so will probably never know 😜
