They’ll either punch a hole in a Top Thrill logo on the fast lane pass; Or give us a separate wristband that will be cut off once we “fast lane” Top Thrill.

I’m going to cedar point this year, I’m looking at during the week in mid July so the park will be open late and so it’s warm so we can use the pools. Do you think that’s a good time to go, as long as if it’s during the week?

It’s peak time but for all the reasons you stated it’s a great time to go. Night rides, entertainment on the beach at night, warm weather…give yourself a couple days and maybe consider fast lane at some point and you’ll have a blast

I purchased the all season Fast Lane as it was justified from the cost alone, getting as many laps as we want on Top Thrill II is a huge bonus. Doing the math for me to have Fast Lane for all my Cedar Fair visits would cost me over 1400 dollars if purchased individually.

My opinion use your top thrill dragster fast lane plus in the day then about 30 minutes before closing get in line again and end the night with TT2 lol that’s what I’m doing

Brothaman! I can totally see a new system that will be hardcore on the scanning, but I see this as not only a way to ensure that one day F-L buyers only go through once (to enhance the sales of the upcoming F-L one-ride passes outside the new Top Thrill two, but they will use it at marketing research. They can gauge my friend, which rides enthusiasts go on and which to avoid. This will help determine future ride choices for years to come......I hope a lot of people ride Copperhead Strike in 2024 lol.

They aren’t really concerned with what enthusiasts ride or don’t ride to be honest. We’re a very small spec of their customer base. That market research has been going on for a long time but this will definitely make it more accurate to see where the fast lane people are going. They already have a great idea but this will tighten the numbers up.

Do you have any intel on what the minimum height requirement will be for TT2? Hoping 52” so my son can ride this year but I recall the original was 54”. Thanks!

The original was 52 from what I remember. The only 54 requirements in the park were always raptor and rougarou. 48 or 52 are the two most likely heights. But I know cedar point loves going taller than the manufacturer requires

The problem they had with the scanners at CP was they wouldn't work correctly half the time. People also had issues with lining up the bar code properly with the scanner beam. Scanning the wristband would unlock the turnstile. So, in theory if they worked properly you could save having an employee monitor the FL entrance. Also, several Cedar Fair parks had issues with FL regarding people printing fake wrist bands at CP, KI & Wonderland. Wonderland additionally had issues with band swapping, by cutting them off. The entrance attendance would really look closely at your band, especially later in the day. Saw several people get caught with a cut & taped together band.

I don’t ever remember them unlocking a turnstile. Most weren’t even by a turnstile like on steel vengeance.

Swapping was a huge problem at CW a few years ago because the plastic wristbands could be removed and reused. 2 problems were teens harassing people outside the gate leaving in the afternoon asking if they could have their wristbands, and because they weren’t dated or barcoded, once you had enough of them (an all season holder for example), you could bring one of each colour and give one to a friend for free for that day. It went viral on TikTok and the park caught on.

Question - have you heard if they will have an option for the 2024 Cedar Fair All Park Pass to add an all park fast lane for 2024? (I know in past years, with the Platinum pass - you could purchase an all park fast lane) but, so far, I don't see that listed as an option for 2024 for any of the cedar fair parks. Was just curious (Kings Dominion passholder here).

They have it. We got our brand new all park passport and the fast lane for all parks. I don’t think I did it any differently then I did in years past but I renewed in August so it’s been a while.

Unfortunately new rides don’t really take any significant amount of people away from other rides. Maybe something little like 5/10 minutes but nothing we’d all notice. But rides with backwards launches are a lot of fun though we do prefer the backwards airtime you get on rides like pantheon and ice breaker.

I hope so, there fast lane sucks how are you in a fast lane but you end up in the middle of the line along with everybody else. And that's on 80% of the ride it makes no sense why get a fast lane if you going to end up in line with everybody else still not even 100 ft from the entrance where everybody else is

I'm not going to Cedar Point until they find some improvements to their fast lane because CP sells out too many of their fast lanes and their not severely limiting the purchases. It can cause long wait times like Millennium force, Steel vengeance and maverick. Another bad quality about fast lane is some fast lines merge onto the normal line like Millennium force, Steel Vengeance, Magnum and Raptor. CP needs to build new paths, stairs or modifying the queue lines. I wouldn't be surprised if CP gets rid of the PLUS option just like kIngs island, Kings Dominion, Dorney Park and Carowinds.

Steel vengeance and millennium are the only terrible merger points. SV fast lane was so good before those lockers. Magnum and raptor aren’t too bad, they’re both very close to the station

I don’t see how allowing only season fast lane holders to get multiple rides when they’re at the park more often than traveling guests. You would think people only having one day would get that privilege but who knows it’s always about the money and that pass isn’t cheap.

You have to give the benefit to those who give the most and that’s the $1000 for the season long for all the parks. That said, after this video cedar point’s app (not the website though) says that everyone only gets one ride on tt2 per day. They don’t seem to even know what they want to do
