Back in the day Second Wind used to be 3% health per second under 35% - and Defensive Stance? that was 25% damage reduction back in 5.0 as well. It was basically like nuking into a suped up Barkskin Cenarian Ward bear form druid, who also had another healer in the lobby healing them if you ever left a gap in any CC. I mained Warrior at the time and between those 2 abilities and our 3 (or was it 4?) stuns, it was close to impossible to die as a warrior unless a warlock just blasted you with a 200k+ chaos bolt or another warrior hit you with a 5 taste for blood stack heroic strike for 300k.

I've always had a warrior alt, but only really loved playing mine in Wotlk. I put every survivability talent available to be as tanky as possible, as well as using some defensive trinkets. It felt so good to see my hp going up whenever I was in a stunlock against rogues. Second wind is broken af, but also really fun. Let's see how broken warriors will be in TWW

Survival always ignored. A couple patches ago they were like "oh here's a 3% dam increase which will do nothing while you die trying to push in and do damage to that DH/Warrior comp." Oh yeah and they stealth nerfed our S1 four set that we voted to bring back. No comment necessary since there are like 3 of us maining the spec in pvp.

Paladins are suppose to fight in the frontline so to talk about healers not doing dmg when you’re at HPally is the wrong spot to be talking about that. But I agree that not all healer should be damaging; the only classes that should be fighting to heal are Paladin, Monks and disc priest(since they need to be different from holy).

FYI the mage "stun" is no longer a stun. Its another disorient or something like that. Mages will still be without a reliable stun for 3+ xpac.

If you are a healer and dont want to dps, you SHOULD be looked over compared to someone who is imo. Having 1 or 2 specs who can dps to heal simply makes those 2 specs better than all the rest, as they actively contribute more to the group. I feel like the thinking that a healer should just heal is a relic of the past.
