3:31 The Ottlite is beautiful, with a leather-looking base. The catch… the bolts and wing nuts are brittle, and they break. Sadly, the design makes them NON-replaceable.

Nice haul Jeff. I so agree on the garbage pasta they sell here in the US, with the inflammatory seed oils and hybrid flour. That Rao's is just too expensive for me. I've tried to keep up my protein intake with tuna, eggs and walnuts. I need to get to Sam's and look for some of these deals you've shown.

A few years ago, a bridge below St Louis had major cracks in the steel beams. I don't think it collapsed, but I have not heard if it was repaired yet? The inspector was fired because those cracks were there more than two years before a drone found them.

@Jeff...I agree with the way Costco is advertising their "sale" items by member mailers as well as how they price items online. Their website shows prices higher than in the warehouse and the flyers by mail won't show a price but display "Save $40" or similar. So, you don't get the regular price at the same time which means you have to know what the prices usually are in the warehouse in order to determine if the "sale price" is really any savings. I don't like that idea when MEMBERS are paying a fee for their shopping experience. A regular retail store or grocery store typically use those tactics to get you into the store to find out how much the item is. I don't agree that is how a membership should function. In fact, Costco didn't use those tactics since the late 1980's up until a few years ago. New management, new marketing people etc. have stooped too low to mess with a membership organization with those cluster ideas.
