I just read an article on the Wallstreet Journal about your early life, family "challenges" and the circuitous route you took to hoof trimming. I was wondering how profitable the business was so came across a brief synopsis or your journey. Wow, over 600 people signed up for your first hoof trimming seminar from all parts of the world. It's amazing how your first videos intended for farmers have skyrocketed into massive interest around the world. Can't wait for your book to come out. I hope it goes into more detail about the family dynamics, tragedies and triumphs that guided you into trimming. Fascinating. Well done!

Seeing you two at 7:15 brought a happy tear to my eyes. About 9 years ago my brother was in a car accident and became vegetative, and a few years ago he died. In that time I've bought land and livestock, and I know I would've had him next to me learning a thing or two if he could be there. I'm glad you had that opportunity with your brother.

Thanks everyone. My brother was someone who would never stop moving, learning, and would have lived in a tree in the forest if he could convince his wife and kids it was the right choice. As sad as it was, his death was a relief, because it meant he was no longer stuck in the prison of his own body, and his energy could move on. His ashes have been spread far and wide. They have been buried near his home, they nourish a tree in my yard, they travel in the mountain rivers he canoed, the winds blow them across the plains. I am at peace and moving forward, and so is he.

I keep seeing people on other hoof channels say they prefer the purely technical, short videos. I can't imagine why. I enjoy those as well, but these videos are just as enjoyable with music and seeing you guys driving through the countryside, seeing up the crush, and even the music parts over you just working away. Keep up the good work, I've even added the songs you use to my KZbin driving playlist.
@metaforcesaber
@metaforcesaber 4 ай бұрын
Oh God, those people are so dramatic about it too. Like, the whole point of KZbin is you can customize your recommendations. So either hit the thumbs up, the thumbs down or even don't recommend channel. But those people act like playing a little bit of music during the hoof trim is like some egregious sin. They act like everything has to be a competition.

People can make whatever content the platform allows. People can watch whatever they want. People are allowed their opinion and to voice it. My Gran used to say if you haven't got anything nice to say about someone don't. So ill refrain from commenting about them. Funny how some people are so happy, you can tell this man, his crew and his girls are they don't feel the need to put other people down. "I like both kinds of music, country and western." It's a bleeding you tube channel. Keep up the good work lads from Australia. 13 hot? Now with that I'd have something to say. Come here I'll buy you a beer when it's 40, at 45 yeah, time for the pub, well even at 13 it would be come to think of it but those girls won't give themselves a pedicure that would be udderly ridiculous.

It's a thing that often happens here where I live, a lot of people doing work for people (myself and other people I know included), we slip more into the accent of who we're talking to. It builds more of a rapport with the customer. I'm guessing that's what he's doing, not even intentionally, he's born and bred in that area so the accent is part of what he knows. It just comes out stronger when talking to someone who also has the accent coming out thickly

Hoof GP is getting me through my law degree and I'm not alone! I tutor at my law school and a number of my students love hoof trimming. According to my productivity, the channel is not always the best influence. But in my opinion, the channel is a happy influence. And my mother agrees. That's right - every law student* and they're Mum rates the Hoof GP! *Classic law student with the modest, humble generalisations there...

Not sure why but it very satisfying to watch you you trim hoofs, but your videos are by far my favorite to watch when i sit down to eat dinner.

I watch both you and your brother's channel and love them both. The last time I saw my brother I got to spent the day helping him heard cows from one pasture to another, went 16 miles on horseback and had a blast. Getting to spend the day in his life will never be forgotten and is treasured as he was the last cowboy in our family of a long line of cattle ranchers.

It's great to see brothers working together. I have had the opportunity to work many jobs with my brother even though we live in different states. We both have the same careers (iron workers) but on the big jobs across the states we find each other. Another great video!!

You are so lucky, growing up on a farm with a big family! I am from the suburbs and only my big brother. Milking a cow is actually on my bucket list!

Great to meet you Bob, I hope you're not going to be a stranger to us. You're right, growing up on a farm, it never leaves you and it's always good to be back, even if only for a short while. All the best.

Hello Mr Bob and welcome to Graeme's KZbin herd! What a wonderful day for you and your brother! It is about time!! I would LOVE to see your country myself, as, I am only 4th generation Canadian 🇨🇦 and my fathers said is all from Scotland. I also have family who have had a dairy farm in the family for over 100 years (inlaws) and can truly appreciate the hard work and team work that goes into farming. Thanks and praise from Peterborough Ontario Canada 🇨🇦 ♥️ BTW, very warm today here! 28 degrees C but no humidity. It does get 40 degrees here in the "dog days of summet" with the humidity.

Here from Bancroft Ontario your neighbor down the road. Lol my family is also from Scotland and Ireland and I'd love to visit both places. Where Graeme lives looks so beautiful. Wonderful to see Bob with the trimmers today. Handsome lot of men.

This was a really fun video! I love that he talked about the smells and things were would not necessarily know about the experience. I definitely didn’t think about the burning hooves with the grinder. What a fun time to have him close. Thanks guys!
