Whole issue with Willys argument with Lerix and its some boomer energy ill admit, but I'm not a boomer, far from it. You get paid, >100,000 dollars in under a month for super discomfort and some really harsh environments where you ended up having trouble sleeping and blisters. Tell that to anyone that works in a 140 degree steel mill for $29.00/hr when you made their entire 40/hr salary that takes 3 years in under a month, hell under a week. Willy's argument is just from a bad place cause hes trying to moral highroad this as "companies should do better" but that kind of pay is lifechanging. People would do a LOT worse and a LOT more for anywhere near 100,000 dollars in even a months time. Thats a massive shortcut in life. Most people dont see 100k until they're pushing past 30 years old. I'm just saying, if MrBeast actually tortured this guy or subjecting him to some crazy traumatizing experience without telling him, like that weird haunted house, or some FearFactor esq stuff where you have to each roaches and have spiders crawl on your face/head with snakes in the tank. Okay, I can see that being a bit much.... but confinement for ~a week for 100k+? Imagine going to actual prison, god bless you. I've been arrested before and its arguably 10x worse than whatever he went through and for no payout haha. Willie also says 100k gives a "couple weeks off his actual job".... which blew my mind

Why is Lerix acting like a fucking lawyer when talking to Willy? It's kinda dumb Edit: Also should be worth noting that while yes Delaware didn't always wear a mask in Mr. Beast videos, in that insane asylum video when he wears that mask he is given the name "Zoro" during the dance off on the scene. They also didn't even call him by name in the video directly which is kinda weird. So it seams that they were trying to hide his true identity to some extent with the fake name

My issue was that Willy was not 100% sure they implemented Ty's idea because it's unoriginal so they might have gotten it from somewhere else.

when will bowblax realize that gender identity≠sexuality. he doesn't need to bring up his attraction to trans women everytime he says he's nonbinary, and he's not nonbinary just because he's attracted to trans women. he's legit just a cis straight dude

id like to point out here and Lerix always glazes over this when talking about the Delaware wearing a mask thing.... YES Delaware didnt wear a mask in previous mr beast videos but Jake The Viking tweeted that Delaware DID wear a mask in that particular video beause he was getting more nervous about having his face on the channel especially in a challenge video. i can see Mr Beast being aware of this because what other REASON would Delaware be wearing a mask in that video? you say it's for a "bit or joke" but where is there proof of that in the context of that video? you can think Jake The Viking is making that up but Lerix never mentions this so he ether doesnt realize this or hasnt fully thought it through.

Call me stupid but I fail to see the argument Willy put forward about comparing a marathon, a mostly controlled environment (outside of weather conditions) Vs swimming in sharks, an uncontrolled environment. In the marathon the company isn't putting the contestants' life in danger and I don't see why it should be held accountable for injuries that could happen in a marathon setting, it's like being mad at the NBA when a player tore his ACL or something like that 🤔

Dude, i think what you r saying is alright but its kinda comparable like what would be the limit to what you can make a person do? I think it depends on the person doesnt it. Its obvious that jake is a weak man and could not do the challange. Yea i think he is a crybaby bitch but he shouldnt have been put in a position where he would be effected psychologically. If we can tell that he is a weak minded guy surely mr beast company could tell also and he never should have been offered the challange in the first place. Do you agree?

We cant say that ty needs to be paid, the court should be doing that. The fact that dude made a video and asked for 1.7 mill gofundme says a lot.

Also on another point, man Willie really dropping the ball here. You know how many companies legit just take an employee's idea, lounge talk, or uncopyrighted idea and just flat out steal it from the ground up with 0 compensation? you know how many people invest and just rob the inventors? like no offense, but american ninja warrior and several things similar have done stuff relative to that theme. It's not that original of an idea, but also it doesnt guarantee compensation. How many youtubers compensate their fans for ideas in the comments? Lets be real. Thats cope dawg. Should he have been compensated? Sure anyone can argue that, but was he entitled to it? No. These are the bad arguments and points that end up making MrBeast look better in times of adversity. Its basically going off feelings rather than logic. Real talk i feel like most youtubers really just give too much credence to first world problems. These are all things any non-internet brained human would find outright honestly revolting at hearing because its just such a joke in comparison to what a person actually deals with on a daily basis.

Yeah companies taking people's ideas is so incredibly common I think it's the norm. Hell I know many contracts have a part which directly says "any ideas you come up with while working under us we have all the rights to." I know that is the case for Disney and I know that was the case for those who worked at Buzzfeed, to the extent that any ideas outside office hours, or personal side projects, the company still had the rights too. I also know that for most competitions it says that all contestants agree to have their work/ideas stolen and not receive any actual credit, not money, for. In fact personally I believe that often companies will choose random designs to "win" but they go on to use the best actual designs themselves. This has proven to have been the case with both Vans and Converse, which were art/shoe design competitions.
