Agree. Im not that much of a car guy and really not an offroad guy at all, but I really enjoy this channel over other ones. Learn a little bit about cars, be entertained, see some good recoveries. It has a good mix of everything and some funny, good, simple (in a good way) people as well.

Congrats entire Fab Rats team in reaching the 500k mark . I think if I remember back to a previous vido the guy who owned the jeep was building it and then lost interest, something to that effect. Either way it's great to see the finish work completed as it should have been, a few corrections being made, the whole thing given a good once over. Nice package for a guy who is more than deserving of it, Ben's an easy goin, cool dude and a great addition to the FR channel . Compliments also go to Hunter and Michelle, the camera work and video content is only getting better.

Really glad you took the ORIs back to the dealer/ service centre. It was problem that requires specialist skills and we get a chance to see some of these shops in action. The Jensen family are legends

RabRats (Ben), The loctite 262 (red) is an anaerobic thread locker. It does not "dry". It sets up in the absence of air. Air actually prevents it from setting. Never try to squeeze the extra air out of the bottle to "keep it from drying up" as it does the opposite. Too much just makes a mess. If the gap you are filling between the threads is too big (a very loose fit), it won't set either. Great stuff to use. 262 generally needs heat to break it loose on smaller bolts. 242(blue) does not.

If I lived in your part of Utah, I would be an off-roader too. I am getting up in years so I wouldn't do the more challenging stuff, but I would spend time wandering around the easy stuff. As a younger man living in logging country in the Pacific Northwest I used to love spending my weekends wandering around the woods in an old pick up truck just seeing what I could see. That activity usually involved a close friend and a 6 pack of cheap beer!

Those chain grips are useful but you kill your parts with them, so you use a cut up rubber innertube between them and your part so you don't scratch your parts or in this case your ORIs

Hey FabRats, I am a wheel repair technician and work outside. Idk how cold it is there but the coldest temp I have painted in is like 20 degrees. You can't use waterborne paint/clear coat since it'll take forever to dry, but you can paint in pretty cold weather. I will say, it's not great and I don't recommend doing it if you don't have to
