technically true, in GT every dragonball did contained a Dragon, because of the frequent wishes of the Z-fighters and even for Db and DBZ somewhat true, because on earth we had Shenlong "inside" the 7 dragonballs, on Namek we had Purunga "inside" and in the universe 6&7 we had in the planetsize dragonballs Super Shenron "inside"... but yeah that line of " little boy collecting balls containing dragons" from the media coverage cracked rightfully every DB-fan up😄😄

I was interested in Daima before he passed but now I feel like I need to watch it. His last work. Also really want to play Sand Land coming out next month his other last work. I still think of how much I appreciate his work over the years at least his art. I've said it before Chrono Trigger was my real introduction into his art style. I did play Dragon Warrior before that but it was like 30 minutes I had no clue what I was doing and went back to Final Fantasy. (I was 10 at the time.) Then Dragon Ball Z happened on Toonami. I remember at least here in the states when Dragon Quest 8 was coming out and they were really making it a selling point to put his name on there. Ultimately I look forward to these. I really don't see Dragon Ball ending, it's too big still. And I think he set a lot of people up to be able to take over and take good care of the franchise. I've always never questioned it but did DB Evolution really make him want to work more Dragon Ball? Is that really true? Again I never questioned it because, hey, we got more DB.

I still can’t believe how much hate Daima has been getting. Like it has a lot of hate when not even any full episodes have been released. I’m certain part of it is because people really wanted and still want them to make a new season for the Dragon Ball Super anime to adapt the Moro and Granolah arcs. But honestly it’s just ridiculous. What I did was to take time out of my day to spend time with loved ones, had movie night with the feature being Super Hero. I’m actually surprised Daima wasn’t already going to air on TV over there. TV and theaters are still commonly used there over streaming. Which is why some other anime do theater exclusive showings and episode release schedules can be funky since other TV events can sometimes interfere with the episodes airing, especially with holidays.

Ha, I hadnt thought of the QVolt car in years. Awesome! I'm starting to get to the point where I can focus on and remember all the great stuff he did with a smile. I agree with you about dunking on people who aren't into it. It's okay to not like something even if Toribot did it. My suspicion is Daima is going to be 40 episodes since it's 40th anniversary. So one good solid arc. Just my speculation.

RIP Toriyama, You were my childhood hero, Watched Dragonball every day in the morning before going to school, I'm 39 and STILL love dragonball. Can't wait for Dragonball Super 2.

So glad Masako Nozawa is helping to promote the new DB anime in honor of Akira Toriyama (RIP). She sure is an amazing person to still be able to voice Goku at her age, especially with all the screaming involved. Though I'm more used to Sean Schemmel's Goku like most other English dub fans (plus Stephanie Nadolny's Kid Goku even though she hasn't voiced him for more than a decade), I still respect Masako-san for being the original voice. After all, she was approved by Toriyama himself. Sure would be nice if Funimation would re-hire Stephanie Nadolny to voice Kid Goku again for the new anime, assuming they do dub it (yeah I know they're Crunchyroll now, but they'll always be Funimation to me). Though I haven't minded Colleen Clinkenbeard as Kid Gohan, I still feel Stephanie was the best as Kid Goku. Another idea I'd like is if they'd just let Sean voice Kid Goku for once. He could either try to pitch his voice to sound younger, kinda like he's done for Teen Goku in OG Dragon Ball and DBZ Kakarot, or they could simply pitch his voice higher in post-production.

@Bombasaur101 how does it not make sense you can't put a dead person in a live action cameo an even that you basically can with cgi an stuff but you definitely can with anime or animated media just draw the man an have him sitting somewhere when they show how people react to dbz fights like in most movies
