Here is a 60"x75" piece I did recently with acrylics and oil pastels. Though simple looking in design, it makes a big statement in a room.

You had asked what do we do when we are lacking inspiration or motivation . Lucky for me I have other artistic outlets to pick up the slack during a painting block. I am enjoying your gutsy works and am glad to have had your page recommended to me today.

I really enjoy the simpler art the most. I feel it really works so well in an interior so can be enjoyed for years I.e it would work really well in most spaces. Sometimes it’s beautiful just to celebrate colour, composition and texture. Loving your channel

Did u stain the canvas or gesso?
@AddiArts

no gesso on this one, a couple thin layers of paint on unprimed canvas, so basically like a stain yep

Thanks! I believe I did one coat of a dark blue, after that dried I did a coat of dark gray. I tried to keep the gray coat thinned down with water to expose a bit of the blue. It turned out a nice deep blue/grey
