I admire the perfection of this guy! Amazing! BUT surely it would have just made more sense to replace the wing with a new one for cheaper and save wasting time.

We are loving the multiple industry technology you put into this repair! Especially how you incorporate glue (IMO) way farther than most would have taken it. Have you used our adhesives yet? If not please get up with me, I would like to take that glue game of yours to the next level with some new tech.

You're a great dent guy, no question. But a like new used replacement fender is about 2 hours of work and likely under $400. This is at least a 6 hour pdr repair, so i hope you're making more than $70 per hour. Or the customer paid $700-800 for a less than possible repair. You deserve the highest pay, and your customers deserve the best advice. Your the man!

I was thinking the same thing too. However, when you factor in painting the new fender and colour matching it seems like this is still the cheaper option, depending on how much he charges.

Nice repair for what you had to work with. Very similar technique and strategy I use. My only question….since the fender had the paint damage to begin with, wouldn’t it be more feasible to buy a fender and swap it out? Can’t imagine you did that repair for $300 or so. Loving the channel. Would love to see a video about how you built your pulling tower. I have something similar I started but business picked up and haven’t got around to finishing it.
@elevationdentco.44632 жыл бұрын
Hey Mark.. It would of definitely been a lot easier but that color has 11 different variants so i would of had to blend the door that silver is a bit tricky. I wasn’t expecting that paint to crack as bad but shit happens.. That tower is insanely basic compared to most I built it really cheap.. Maybe I'll put a video or a pdf together sometime ..
