We are down to the wire in our zone of New York for diver duck hunting. On the last day of the season we finally have the birds and the weather to get out on the big water and we are greeted with huge flocks of redheads and duck limits to close out the season!

How are you guys eating those divers? They taste and smell very bad, my family won't even eat the mallards that I shoot let alone Divers.

There are a lot of good ways to eat them. Granted they won’t be as tasty as a puddle duck. One of my (Jon) personal favorite ways to utilize divers, brant, or sea ducks is in a stir fry. We did a video on it a few years ago for Cabelas. It turned out delicious. My wife asks me to make it all the time haha. @@JustHuntClub Thank you, I will try it with the mallards. My wife has forbidden me to shoot ducks. I can only shoot geese, Turkey and deer otherwise I am not allowed back in the house 😄
