This is a good reminder that we all have to keep working on our spaces. They never get completely perfect.

Worked on this today! Tho it’s mainly my husband’s space I do the recycling ♻️ and I also had bought containers so I assisted and offered recommendations since I’m the born organizer. I also did recycle a huge pile of cardboard he kept. Better but I’m really shooting to live as if we may move at any time!!😂

Saturday : Garage maintenance, Utilized some recently emptied containers to corral cleaning products, painting supplies on wheeled shelving rack. All contents has been carefully edited, and got a good sweep out before I brought the car for the night.

I love your videos and look forward when they pop up. I like the idea about setting a reminder in your phone for items that are in timeout. I also appreciate hearing your voice over the videos. Please continue creating content. You’re appreciated. ❤

hi Robyn! It looks great! We did our garage last year, but I have to periodically go through the cabinets and re-organize things that randomly appear in odd places ( I lovingly call that randomness “man-shoving”. It’s when husbands don’t know where things go so they randomly shove things in cabinets and draws.) I have decided to conquer our laundry/pantry room for this October challenge. It’s getting a makeover along with a declutter. So far so good! One last thing: I rarely keep cardboard boxes. I read somewhere that the cockroaches travel in them in shipping. Not sure how true it is, but it was enough of a scare tactic to make me recycle them as soon as I open a box 🥹thank you for the video. I appreciate the motivation!

I like your laid back style and that your video is mostly real time. I also like that your clutter looks normal, like mine! I'm the declutter person and my husband is the hoarder... After watching, I may ask him if we can set up a my side/his side... That may be a good compromise that we both can live with. I feel your pain about the Kubota.... It's my husband's first love😂

My worst place is our utility room. We send our dogs out into the garden this way so it's where muddy paws are dealt with. Also being where our washing machine lives there are often piles ready to load into the machine or baskets ready to go upstairs to dry. My garden tools and general tools live in this room too, overflow of household cleaners, paint cans, dig grooming kit, as well as the cushions for garden furniture. It is also the place I store my onions and garlic when they're dried out. A very busy multi purpose space, which also happens to be the smallest room in my house! It doesn't always look great, but because everything has a place I find it a really quick process to pull it all back together again.

My hubby wanted to keep the Lego Disney castle box, a set that we put together last Christmas. Not sure what we will actually end up doing with it because I don't imagine taking the castle apart. On another note, even though I'm currently sick, this video is motivating me to get the garbage ready for pick up tomorrow. You did such a good job on your side of the garage! Thank you, Robyn!

I still don't have a lot of money but holding on to things that could help others helps no one. I was trying to sell some appliances on marketplace but the space was worth more to me to store patio furniture, I live in MI we store stuff for the winter. I cleaned it as well as a disabled mother could. Habitat Restore Locally they picked it up and were thankful and kind.

Our house is small. We do not have a dedicated storage area. My husband does have a shed for junk, I mean stuff, I mean tools. I don’t go in there because my head will explode. For storage I have 18 gallon containers for holiday decor. 3 Halloween, 3 Christmas, 1 eater/birthday/spring, 1 sentimental, 1 clothes for my 5yo to grow in to. These live in my daughters bed room closet, my living room coat closet which i converted into a broom closet. I have some storage under the bed. It’s not ideal for me, but the house is small so I need to use what I can. I’ve got a container under there for gifts. I do have a crate in our outdoor laundry room for paperboard that I like to use to start fires in the yard. Everything else just goes in it’s dedicated spot throughout the house.

Trash must be sheltered inside since a bear area.

Mine is the garage, but my husband has 90% of ownership of contacts. We have been married for 52 years. For 50 years he has been trying to “ clean out the garage.” It is a family running joke. It never is organized, clean or tidy. When we move to another house, he spends days hours “cleaning “ one area. I take care of the rest of the house. 😂 sound’s humorous, but I have been at a frustration level with this personality trait…..patience😮
