HUGE Go Kart Restoration | Part 3

I found this go kart rusting away in someone's back yard and decided to give it the love it really needed. This series will be posted in parts, and I will post a complete restoration video at the end for those of you that want to see the entire thing in one place. This was a very expensive and time consuming project, but the kart at the end looks absolutely phenomenal.

My favorite part of the series was when you started the engine, I followed the video and got my own cart started, my leg was on it as I was pulling the starter string, the engine started and the kart started rolling I wasn’t fast enough and it pulled me off my feet and dragged me on the ground a little then sped up and slammed into a metal gate😂 good thing it didn’t hit any of my cars in the driveway. Very entertaining series

I appreciate it! That's probably the scariest thing about cars or go karts...the fact that they could take off on you if you aren't certain they fully work. I always have my stuff off the ground when doing tests, don't want anything hurt or broken. It would've been funny to see, but this 420cc engine I put on the kart had the throttle arm stuck open when I started it, and I wasn't expecting, it also took off on me and ran into a wood fence. Gotta be safe out there, jack it up!

45 on a go kart is crazy fast I would end up injuring myself lol
