It’s about time A KZbinr actually holds the camera steady enough to see prices etc. Great JOB! I’m a bass player through and through, you walked by a 2007 MM sting ray for $1699, wish I was there I would have offered $1500 cash and I’m sure he would have taken it.

This is so cool man. I wish I have something like this here in West Palm Beach area... I only went to one down in Miami, where I met the former Yngwie luthier Larry Lashbrook, very nice guy, he used to scalloped some of his guitars.

I had one of those MIJ Blue Flower Telecasters that was in perfect condition that I regret trading. I bought it off a lady for $550. I wish I still had it now. The series of trades led to my 2001 SG Standard that I have now, so I guess I came out okay.

I would have bought that ovation in a heartbeat ! They got it wrong - it's not a balladeer, it's a pacemaker. Pacemakers were the best thing ovation ever made - fantastic guitars. I have 3 and always have room for another. That is the most acoustic you can get for the money, even if the money was 2 grand.

I go to any local guitar show I can (I’m 30). Im usually the young guy from what I notice. Think it’s a combination of times being bad for everyone but younger people especially with high interest rates and crazy home prices/cost of living and salaries not matching up with those costs (damn inflation) and the ease of shopping online via reverb, gc, sweetwater, etc. I am actually going to a local show in nj this weekend and will be bringing my son (9 months old) so I won’t be the young guy at the show lol

Thanks for this in-dept review. Like all my other guitars, a nut job is always required. I'm planning on ordering one. I will try my regular nut lube approach as i do with all my other guitars and if it's still not satisfactory, i'll file the nut slots. I keep hearing concerns about their headstock angle, but i guess in ways it can't be any worse than regular strat-style headstock which don't have that sharp headstock angle, but to compensate for the angle, adding 2 string trees on the headstock only adds tuning issues also, so i can accept that angled headstock i guess. I also might try to wind up the smaller strings upward on the tuning post instead of down to minimize the angle effect. Thanks for sharing all those details. Very good review you did on this one.

Nice! No inlays is quite handsome. It has a wide array of tones to play with, too. I mean, i expect that from a strat, but I'm just saying that one has very distinct ones. I still love my 57 reissue and don't *need* another one. But... I didn't *need* my Peavey T-15 and T-30 pair either..😏

I'm 16 minutes into the video and I still haven't seen a single lefthanded guitar. Going to a show like this would be nothing more than a massive tease to me. Us lefties could walk in with 1 million dollars in cash and still find nothing to buy... Fortunately I have my 'for life' guitars...but it is still fun to look and possibly find something. But it is rare that I find anything that excites me in person.

Hey, as a Left I couldn’t agree any more. It’s BS that you don’t present with Left Handed guitars. Maybe the demand is less than right handers, But left handed guitar players actually do exist..just look at Paul McCartney and hundreds of famous players. I saw these new Guild guitars on their website. I called a rep and asked if they were making their models in the left handed version. He actually told me the demand isn’t there so they don’t make any left handed versions any more. He added that other companies are following suit. Was this rep misinformed?//

Wow you really went thru thoroughly. You think that was BIG?? The shows back in the 90's and even early 2000's were HUGE compared. You used to see Rock stars at them, one year Rick Neilson cheap trick when he published his book did a whole display deal. There used to be parts dealers, a fender specialist, GRETSCH specialist, all had vintage parts usually at some not to horrid prices. That Italia Silver sparkle, with the Mother of toilet seat headstock I might have GONE home with that, there is just something about those affordable Pawn shop prizes. LOL. The Cool early 60's Showman and Bandmaster amps. That is Bird Dog Bobby, those would be great deals and sure to WORK. He repairs amps. Fender is a specialty.
