What bugs me the most is most of these sellers don't even have a real store front to kinda justify some pf these prices. Its crazy when I work that event Im cheaper then most and I have a store front. Thanks for calling out them.

Hey Randy! Yeah I feel I needed to stay transparent on this show. People are watching my videos and going there. I am bummed that I didn't go to Bradenton. Those were perfect conditions to make a awesome video. Not good for dealers, but great for video and audio, and nobody IN THE WAY! lol

The Alvarez acoustic is decent. The older Yamaha probably not bad either. This honestly looks like every pawn shop in town shut down during COVID and now they're selling off what they have at the swap meet. I wouldn't pay any more than $200 for any of it personally and half that for anything electric

I always look at what the stuff actually sold for in the reverb graph and I look at how long it has been listed for, although that is not always helpful because of reposting. Great video.

eBay sold listings is usually more accurate for actual value. But I think their listing history only goes back 90 days now.

on Reverb you have to look at price guide, it will give you past sales(sometimes they don't have info on the guitar you're looking at) and most times it's less then what people are asking. I've had bad luck on reverb and only buy guitars I can hold inspect and play first.

1:06:01...Gibson "Robot Guitars" were a huge failure for Gibson, they don't use them today.....those guitars sell for around 1 to 2 grand cause no one wants them..most have the tuners removed .... I owned one of the original issue that looked just like that one. I bought new and it had a terrible finish and quality control on the guitar and those Robot Tuners have a internal battery that goes bad and the guitar is DOA........Gibson Robot Guitars are the same as Tesla CyberTruck.... terrible... do not waste you money, these will never be "collectors" items.

Why does everyone on these cheap malmsteen guitar vids have the pickups set so far away from the strings? If they make too much noise can't you use a noise gate?
@HankCoffey
@HankCoffey 3 күн бұрын
It's probably the middle pickup only. A lot of Strat players lower the middle pickup so the pick doesn't hit. Yngwie and me both lower ours flush with the pickguard. It's not a cheap Strat thing.

Thank you very much

No problem, so the weighs are noisy? There is felt material inside that deadens the sound of them. Maybe that needs replaced with something.

@HankCoffey

I just checked it out. It seems that Clarity will leave some artifacts on the voice. People will complain about that, they will complain about the silence, if I use background music, they will complain about that. Other than muting copyrighted music, I am just leaving the mic audio as it is now.

You muted the 12 bar blues riff. There is no copyright on that. Otherwise, blues wouldn’t be a thing.
@HankCoffey
@HankCoffey 7 күн бұрын
KZbin's copyright detection system will assign about 12 songs to that blues riff, and auto claim my video for revenue. I will have to appeal each claim. And yes, the rights holders will back off, because they don't own the riff. But I am not going through the trouble man. I would have lost all of this videos launch revenue. Go listen to 12 bar blues elsewhere, the guy's playing was trash anyway. lol.
